The Real Estalker reported this weekend that Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber have listed their Los Angeles home. Watts bought the home in the Brentwood area from Sally Field in 2004 for $4.205 million. The six-bedroom home is on .35 acres. The listing describes the ivy-covered home as being reminiscent of a contemporary villa in Provence. Inside the home is bright white, charming open space with a formal living room, formal dining room, media room and kitchen all with large windows and easy access to the terrace. The master suite has a separate office and an office. Outside there is a trellis-covered outdoor living room, a small but grassy yard and a pool plus a two story guest house and gym. The home is located near shops and restaurants and the Sunday farmer's market and Watts and Schreiber have often been spotted in the area with their young children. This home is listed at $5.995 million.

The Tony Awards doesn't get as much red carpet attention as events like the Oscars and the Emmys but the stars were out in beautiful force on Sunday night. Catherine Zeta Jones was widely lauded as a fashion winner for her shimmering blue gown and diamond chandelier earrings and cuff bracelet and picked up a Tony for her performance in A Little Late Night Music. May 6, 2010 L'Wren Scott, in a nod to Louix XV's famously big-spending mistress, wears du Barry red to a Manhattan benefit for victims of the Haiti earthquake.

RxHaiti was a benefit that counted. On Monday, May 6, a well-populated rooftop cocktail soiree and auction in New York, hosted by Mick Jagger and designer L'Wren Scott, benefited earthquake survivors in need of replacement limbs.

On a sparkling, clear evening atop the 20-story Scholastic building in SoHo, a wrinkly Mick Jagger bounded into the room wearing fresh New Balance running shoes, skinny jeans, a gray blazer with schoolboy dark edging around the lapel, and the characteristic lips and undone coif. In the open air, next to gal pal L'Wren Scott, who towers a head taller, Jagger brandished a Sharpie to sign the glossy keyboard cover of a screaming red baby grand being auctioned to raise funds for prosthetic limbs. A vast glass atrium, also on the roof, housed further auction items, including guitars signed by Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, and Bono. A handler correctly mentioned to actress Rachel Weisz that her buddy Naomi Watts would turn up at any moment. "I love charities that focus on something very specific," Weisz told Luxist.

The four-bedroom home, which the couple bought for $6 million in 2006 and listed for $14.95 million in October, has gone into contract after less than a month on the market.
--Hedge funder Steve Stuart, who left Fortress Investment Group in 2007 has found a buyer for his 35th floor apartment at the Park Laurel on West 63rd Street. The four-bedroom condo, which Stuart bought for $5.4 million in 2004 and put on the market for $10.8 million in October 2008, sold this week to an unidentified buyer for $7.4 million.
--via the NY Post, real estate investor Michael Hirtenstein is the mystery buyer who has agreed to purchase financier Armon Bar-Tur's townhouse at 92 Charles Street for "about $13.5 million."
--via Curbed, Gigi Mahon, an interior decorator, author, and the wife of former Citicorp vice chairman Thomas Theobold, has put her two units at the Plaza on the market for $22.5 million. Mahon bought the two units separately for $3.66 million and $10.02 million back in 2007. The listing is here.

A Matinecock, New York mansion will go up for auction on November 17 auction. The auction is being held by Grand Estates Auction and the home will be sold to the highest bidder, with no reserves and no minimums and buyers must present a $50,000 certified check in order to bid on the property. The 5.33-acre estate is appraised at $10 million.
--Lands End, the 13.35-acre Sands Point estate which may have been the inspiration for Daisy Buchanan's home in F. Scott Fitzgerald's "Great Gatsby," is back on the market with an approval for a five-lot subdivision and a price of $30 million. --Private eye Bo Dietl has gone into contract to sell his Manhasset home. The former cop and occasional TV commentator bought the home for $2.3 million in 2004, listed it for $3.295 million in August and is reportedly selling for "just over $3 million."

We have always been of the opinion that jeweler David Yurman's designs don't quite live up to his gorgeous advertising campaigns.
