Designed as a simple square for maximum impact it features smooth, neon green leather and comes with two detachable shoulder straps -- one with just a buckle and one with a floral cutout detail. Ladies, get your credit cards ready!

The Italian fashion house Miu Miu has recently launched their e-commerce site. Known for their eclectic and innovative designs against classic silhouettes, Miu Miu consistently creates fashions that make a statement while transcending trends.

Miu Miu's online store features their full collections, online-only exclusives and our personal favorite -- The Fashion Show selection where you can shop looks straight from the runway.

As much as we may love online department stores and luxury e-retailers, let's face it, they don't always have the latest or the widest range of clothing and accessories. The more fashion companies enter the e-commerce race, the better for the consumer. More options equals better selections and deals. Happy shopping!

This Miu Miu Appliquéd Metallic Leather Clutch takes "rockstar" to a very literal level with large overlapping stars in gold and black layered on silver. I don't think I'd take the recommendation and wear it with a busy black and white starry dress (a simple LBD would be much better) but if you're looking for a stand-out bag that has a fresh and hip energy this could certainly work. Features include silver hardware, a detachable leather shoulder strap with cutout detail, a triple-compartment interior, and a blush leather interior with lots of pockets. $1,350

Every so often I come across a bag that looks like it was made for a princess, or for Cinderella, and this Miu Miu Crystal-Embellished Matelassé Leather Bag is one of them. The royalty effect happens as a result of a magical combination of powder blue matelassé leather, shiny silver hardware, and crystal embellishments on everything. It has a turn-lock closure on the front and although it's shown here with the detachable crystal-chain shoulder strap it also comes with a braided leather one for daytime looks. Miu Miu Presents A Series Of Short Films

Fashion brand Miu Miu is the latest luxury brand to get into filmmaking with quality short films. "The Miu Miu Womens' Tales" is a series of short movies directed by international female filmmakers. The first video "The Powder Room" by Zoe Cassavetes is a dramatic short film set in London's Claridges hotel. As its name suggests, the piece takes us inside the ladies' room for a look at feminine ritual. Trust me, gentlemen, the public restroom is not usually like this. The short film is laden with lovely models, smoky eyes, sexy shoes, colorful clothing and lingering glances. There's a certain similarity to these luxury brand short films which take place in the same dreamy, aspirational non-reality that the print campaigns seem to inhabit. Miu Miu Boutique Opens In Frankfurt

Miu Miu has opened its latest store, the brand's third German boutique. The store is in Frankfurt on Goethestrasse, the city's most exclusive shopping destination, a street linked with names like Rolex, Vertu, Longchamp, Chanel, Versace, Armani and Miu Miu sister brand, Prada. Like other Miu Miu boutiques, this one was designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi and houses the brand's collections of bags, footwear and small leather goods. The entrance is situated between two display windows framed by polished steel fittings with brass studs. The store is clad in brown marble with a Miu Miu logo in polished brass. Inside the walls, ceilings and seating are upholstered in the brand's traditional gold damask, whilst the floor is laid in dark marble and large beige carpets. To celebrate this opening, Miu Miu is presenting a special edition bag that will be available exclusively at Miu Miu's Frankfurt store.

I usually like Miu Miu but I have to be honest: this Leopard-Print Shearling Clutch looks like something a cartoon woman like Wilma Flintstone would carry. It does look fun though, so maybe with the right outfit it wouldn't be so clownish. The bag is all soft leopard-print shearling on the outside except for the leather-covered frame opening. It closes via the two round pom pon clasps on the top and has a black leather lined interior with no pockets but a detachable matching leopard-print shearling coin purse instead. Love it or hate it? $850

Miu Miu Opens Venice Store

Last month, Miu Miu, the more playful side of the Prada empire, opened a new store in Venice, Italy. The store is in Venice's Salizada San Moise area and sell ready-to-wear clothing, bags and accessories. Architect Roberto Baciocchi created a space with a glass display window facing the street and combined modern elements with the original features of the palazzo. The same inlaid floor joins the three separate spaces for different wares. In the ready-to-wear area shown above the original wood, stucco and plaster ceiling has been kept and restored. Miu Miu Opens Store At the Marina Bay Sands

Miu Miu has opened its latest store in Singapore at the Marina Bay Sands mall, part of the lavish Marina Bay Sands resort. The store was designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi and is a single-level store with ready-to-wear clothing, bags, shoes and accessories. The facade is made of backlit glass and damask with two polished brass Miu Miu logos. Inside a polygonal open space creates a series of smaller intimate areas for different items. The brand has also launched a special bag for the store which is shown after the jump along with an interior shot of the store.

Miu Miu Opens New Porto Cervo Store

Miu Miu has been expanding rapidly in Italy lately. The brand, which is part of the Prada empire, recently opened a store in Bologna and in Forte dei Marmi. The latest opening is in Porto Cervo, seaside resort in northern Sardinia, which finds its harbor stuffed with luxury yachts this time of year.

The name of the collection is taken from Miuccia Prada's nickname and features clothing and accessories that are often a little more playful than the standard Prada offerings. Miu Miu stores often open with exclusive editions and this one is no exception, take a look at the two Porto-Cervo exclusives after the jump.
