Mark Wahlberg in Beverly Hills, Estate of the Day
Filed under: Estates, Celebrity Shopping

We first heard about this home back in October but since Mark Wahlberg's home may soon be off the market according to recent reports of an offer in the LA Times Hot Property column, I thought it might be fun to take a closer look. The home in Beverly Hills is on 1.4 acres. The property includes a 15,000-square-foot house, two-story guest house and a 2,500-square-foot gym with a boxing ring and a full basketball court. The property also has a Playboy-mansion-worthy pool with a grotto and waterfall and a putting green. The house has five bedrooms and 10 1/2 bathrooms. Wahlberg picked up the house in late 2001 for $4.95 million.
The home includes a media room, room with a pool table and a wet bar and a master wing with a huge bedroom with a living room's worth of furniture in it and a bathroom that includes a hairstyling station with a shampoo bowl and salon chair. He may not get his $15.9 million listing price but if there is already an offer around $14 million it seems this one will go fast, hopefully to someone with as much of an interest in fitness as Wahlberg has.
