Ashley Olsen Lists At Loss In Los Angeles
Filed under: Estates, Celebrity Shopping
Ashley Olsen, the blonder and seemingly more Californian of the Olsen twins is the latest celebrity real estate potential loser. While her situation isn't as bad as Scarlett Johansson's $2 million potential loss, Berg Properties Big Time Listings reports that Olsen has listed her home in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles at a price below what she paid for it. She bought the home in 2007 for $1.575 million. The Spanish style three-bedroom was built in 1926. It has had some renovations including new central air and heat, new tiled bathrooms and a new driveway. The listing enthuses that the house never looked better. It has a large living room with a wood-beamed ceiling and French doors lead out to a covered patio and yard with a tiled pool and spa. Arches frame several doorways and the theme is continued with curved fireplaces. Given the span of the Olsen empire, this is a fairly modest home. It is listed at $1.399 million.
