This kicky, roomy leather hobo is delightfully feminine without being overly flashy. We love the little leather flowers, accented by the thick, tactile ruching. The goldtone metal grommets and comfortable shoulder straps complete its functionality as a part-business, part-pleasure handbag.

The fully lined, 12½"W X 12½"H X 7"D bag has five inside open pockets, one zipper pocket and three external pockets. That should help you stay organized, even when you're frolicking in a field (which is clearly what you should be doing when carrying this bag).

Lockheart Avant Garden Satchel, Handbag of the Day

We've loved Lockheart awhile, and we love this Avant Garden Satchel.

Desginers Jennifer Tash and Trang Huynh (who created Isabella Fiore) describe themselves as "flea market junkies, treasure hunters, and compulsive tinkerers." You can really see those influences in the Avant Garden Satchel.

Statement bags like this are hard to pull off, but extravagant leather detailing, which we have come to expect from Lockheart, never fails to impress. These bags just get better with age -- as the leather softens and shows wear, they look lived in, comfortable, and very classic.

This richly textured satchel is just 11"W x 7"H x 7"D, and is the perfect plump, purple plum colored accessory for a day in the park.

The Lockheart Bargello Jada Hobo is an unexpectedly luxurious and practical find!

The practicality is achieved not only by its 14"W x 13"H x 5"D size, but this bag has a detachable 17"-24" drop shoulder strap, rayon lining, six inside pockets, and three large outside pockets. The permanent strap, a 10" drop, fits over the shoulder as well, but we love the intricately woven detail on the detachable strap. If not for the wear those pesky TSA machines could have on this polished leather, we'd call this the perfect carry on bag!

As for luxury, the soft black polished leather and artful exterior panels give the bag a natural elegance and no-nonsense style with universal appeal. We love the portly, retro shape.

The Lockheart Zip It Alana Hobo is secretly one of the trendiest bags we've seen this season, and yet it conveys effortless elegance. How did they manage this?

This purse follows not only the boxy, sturdy shape trend, the metallic trend, and the gathered leather trend, but it even has a rosette that doesn't appear too overly "springy." The secret to this mastery of style is balance -- the metallic hue and zipper trim keep the rosette looking utilitarian, and the sturdiness of the shape make the gathered leather appear natural and even graceful.

This modest,13½"W X 7"H X 5½"D hobo is adorned with a "twisted and knotted" shoulder strap, making it an easy purse to carry on a busy day -- but clearly this is a purse worthy of an cocktail dress or even a dance floor.

Lockheart Kate Duffle, Handbag of the Day

The adorable Kate Duffle is a new bag from relatively new label, Lockheart, started by two of the former minds behind Isabella Fiore's handbags. The small, versatile duffle measures in at just 10"H x 14"L x 7"D and, in addition to having two smooth leather handles on top, it includes a removable leather shoulder strap. The bag is made out of a mix of soft matte leather and woven patent leather, all in black. The hardware is silver, but the feminine look of the duffle keeps it from looking too "edgy." It has a top zipper and there are a total of six pockets in the spacious, canvas-lined interior. $825.
