Ralph Lauren Stirrup Diamond Link Watch

A new high-jewelry timepiece from Ralph Lauren Watches is this Stirrup collection Diamond Link. A full pave 18k white gold case for the small sized Ralph Lauren Stirrup is not new, but the great looking chain-style bracelet is. The case is about 28mm wide and features a specially made for Ralph Lauren Piaget caliber RL430 manually wound mechanical movement. The Stirrup style is clearly meant to as an homage to Ralph Lauren's love of equestrian activities.

There are literally hundreds of diamonds on the case and bracelet - 1,553 of them in fact. My gosh, where do they fit them all? It was nice for me to play with the drool worthy watch. I am sure it would have been like cat nip for women. Total stone weight is about 24.70 carats. Yes, that is a lot of stones. The mixture of the case style and the classy bracelet are a fine mix of the unique styling of RL pieces combined with a very classic jewelry style presentation. Look for these in very limited quantities soon.

Tag Heuer Link Calibre 7 Advanced GMT Watch

An interesting watch from Tag Heuer is this new world time GMT version of its popular Link collection. The steel watch is 42mm wide and houses an automatic mechanical movement (base ETA), that they call the Calibre 7. The cool news about the watch is the magnetic bezel system that connects to the inner ring with the reference city names for the world time function. Moving the bezel moves the city names so that you can calculate the time in that timezone. This should be connected to the GMT hand as well. Pretty nifty little invention. Not wholly Tag Heuer in concept, but they added some new features. Not sure about availability for the Link Calibre 7 Advanced GMT watch or the price, but this interesting travelers watch should be available soon.

Men who enjoy wearing bracelets have an incredible amount of options out there. Seen above are just two examples with an all stainless steel metal version and other with alternating black link segments.

With a design directly inspired by bicycle chains, the line of bracelets is intentionally "gear minded." With the communicative power to suggest that its wearer is both active, and has an appreciation of well-made sports equipment such as a bike or motorcycle.
