The Kooba Audrey Shoulder Bag is surely one of our favorite Koobas of all time.

The soft, mauve leather is gracefully gathered into a sunburst, accented with berry-colored suede. The 12 1/2"H x 14"W x 5"D bag is adorned with antiqued gunmetal hardware, 13" drop straps and a magnetic button closure. It's also available in grey or black with complementary suede contrasts.

This is an excellent day-to-night bag, as it's big enough for work but pretty enough for Audrey herself. We'd love to see this color paired with a grey or blue suit, or dangling over the shoulder of someone wearing a pretty floral print dress (preferably with a little mauve in it). It's a deceptively roomy, elegantly flashy shoulder bag just made for a women with upswept hair and a pair of pearl earrings.

Kooba Launches Footwear

It's no secret that Luxist loves Kooba handbags. We've featured their slouchy, sleek, sophisticated bags as our Handbag of the Day numerous times (click here for Kooba bags we love). As you might imagine, we were overjoyed to hear the brand has lauched a footwear line for Spring 2010.

The Kooba footwear collection, which hit stores this month, is comfortable and chic, encapsulating the effortless glamour which first enchanted us. The Brazil-made collection of wedges and flats incorporates details like python-printed leather, studs and intricate buckles and runs $225 to $385. As for the future, a fall collection is already in the works and will include season-friendly styles like boots and clogs.

Shoes like the Kooba Mae (above, $295) are available from Kooba.com, Zappos.com and Endless.com, as well as many of the boutiques where you already shop Kooba.

Kooba Hadley Leather Satchel, Handbag of the Day

The Kooba Hadley Leather Satchel is an attractive new bag with a rather unusual zipper placement.

At first, we thought that it was a little impractical, albeit pretty, to put a horizontal zipper across the middle of a double-top-handled satchel. Then, we realized the side zipper doesn't open the bag; it's actually just to a side pocket, and there is another zipper on top of the bag. Whew! It's actually win-win.

This 12"W X 6½"H X 4"D bag is made of soft white leather and features art-deco-esque triangular stitching, goldtone hardware, and purple imported Italian fabric lining. This is great for day or night, and will look fabulous with all your spring colors. There is a detachable crossbody strap to ensure your pristine white leather never has to touch the ground.

Kooba Mila Clutch, Handbag of the Day

The Kooba Mila Clutch is spangly and sexy.

This python-embossed leather clutch, with its demure, delicate wristlet and gold ring, is the perfect thing to spice up a little black dress -- or a little green dress, a little gold dress, a little purple dress, and so on. The stripy colors are fresh and playful, and give the bag an 80s feel, but not overwhelmingly, like say, Zubaz (warning, may burn your eyes).

We also love the stroke-me texture, the black leather whipstitching at the edges and especially the long shape, which ensures you will actually be able to put things into this bag. This would be an easy go-to for grabbing off your shelf to glam up an outfit -- even your work clothes.

Kooba Dale Suede Tote, Handbag of the Day

The Kooba Dale Suede Tote is a beautiful choice for anyone seeking a tote bag that doesn't look ... so much like a tote bag.

This luxurious taupe suede bag will transition beautifully into the fall season, when we'll be seeing a lot of textured bags, from suede to fur. The color is a perfect neutral for complimenting the dark blues and greens that will be all over the runways, and its light shade won't keep you from carrying it till then (the rest of the summer), either.

We love the classic Kooba shape, accented by the diagonal leather strap and belt buckle details. This pretty, yet no-nonsense bag is 11"W X 12½"H X 5½"D; large enough to fit a portfolio, but slouchy enough to remain elegant and shapely.

You will want to rub this on your face.

The Tied Convertible Hobo bag by Kooba has such a relaxed feeling to it I can't seem to picture it with anything other than a cute pair of jeans. Available in several different colors (including classics white and black) this lilac version isn't too bright that you can't almost treat it as a neutral. The bag is simplicity at its best, with nothing more than supple leather styled into a basic decorative knot on one side, which can be adjusted to make one strap extra long for a hip-slung variation. $575

The Kooba Tess Hobo is a youthful, classy new style which comes in Luggage (brown), Sky (dusty blue -- shown), and White.

Kooba always looks like Gossip Girl's Blake Lively to me -- it's no wonder they named a bag after the young star. The look is sleek and yet complicated; pretty, yet utilitarian. At 16.5"W x 9"H x 6.5"D it is large enough to hold your wallet, camera, and makeup bag, yet dainty enough to carry in the evening.

Kooba loves corset accents on their bags at the moment, which is fine with us because we really like the look of their Brynne Large Corseted Shoulder Bag. The corset draws in the leather on both the front and the back of the bag, giving it a comfortably slouchy look, and also accents either end of the purse. The Kooba Mischa is a casual, everyday use handbag. It is made of pale canvas and trimmed with contrasting, fawn-colored leather. The leather is tied off at the ends in small bows that give the bag a slightly youthful appearance. The long strap is adjustable up to a length of 37-in., so it can be slung over the shoulder or draped across the body. All of the hardware is an antiqued brass, which blends nicely with the overall color scheme of the bag. A magnetic closure secures the bag's contents, enfolded in the bag's suede interior. In addition to daily use, this would make a great bag for a student who just wants to tuck away a notebook or two, along with some pens, a wallet and a cell phone, when spending a day on campus.
