Jolie's Out, Elson's In At St. John
When Angelina Jolie was first announced as the face of luxury brand St. John it was a shock for those who had been accustomed to seeing Kelly Gray front the brand for years. Now after three years with Jolie as its face, the brand is switching again to an even edgier model, model and rock star wife, Karen Elson. Elson is married to The White Stripes' Jack White and they have two children. Gray is a blonde, Jolie a brunette and now in Elson they've got a porcelain skinned redhead. Our sister blog Stylelist has images of the new campaign showing Elson in dramatic poses in black and white clothing, her red hair and deep red lipstick adding a flash of color. The campaign was shot by Greg Kadel and will appear in the February issues of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Vanity Fair.
