Jin Patisserie Chocolates
The delicate and ever-so-slightly strange chocolates
of Jin Patisserie are now available online so that the rest of the country
can enjoy what Los Angeles has been buzzing about for a few years. The small cafe offers cakes, cookies and afternoon
tea from a quaint storefront in Venice, California. Owner Kristy Choo brings an obsessive sense of detail and a passion
for edible art to all her unique creations . Her chocolates are elegantly decorated little squares packed with flavors
like sea salt caramel, lemon grass, black roasted sesame, lychee and chrysanthemum. A box of 20 chocolates in a
silk-lined box which highlights their jewel-like quality sells for $55.
