Rare Large Yellow Diamond Goes On Display

Model Jerry Hall was on hand as the world's largest known vivid yellow pear-shape diamond went display at the Natural History Museum in London. The Cora Sun-Drop diamond is a 110-carat yellow diamond which was mined in Africa and loaned to the Museum by Cora International, the diamond company that crafted the original rough diamond. The stone gets its sunny color from small amounts of nitrogen in its carbon structure. Diamonds of this size with a strong vivid yellow color are very rare. It will be on display from February 25 for up to six months.

The Stunning Photographs of Stan Shaffer

If you've never heard of photographer Stan Shaffer, who captured the cream of cultural bohemia in the golden age of the '60s and '70s, now's the time to rectify that courtesy of über-luxe German publisher teNeues. You Should Have Been With Me is a massive scrapbook culled from Shaffer's stunning archive, with intimate portraits of celebs of the day including Gloria Vanderbilt, Angelica Huston, Andy Warhol, Halston, Calvin Klein, Peter Beard, Cheryl Tiegs, Grace Jones, Jerry Hall, Brooke Shields and Mariel Hemingway. These are interspersed with sexy fashion snaps and outtakes of sessions with supermodels on yachts and in Porsches once the "work" was done. In diary form Shaffer shares extracts from his extraordinary life at the nexus of New York's art, fashion and cinema worlds, at glitzy parties "where everyone is somebody and they're all dressed to kill!" Shaffer's journey was that of a "voyeur, participant, invited guest and documentarian" wrapped into one; sadly he died during the final stages of production on this book, which now serves as a fitting legacy for an artist who deserves more recognition.

Mick Jagger's Model Daughter Shoots Another Sexy Ad Campaign

We've been following young Georgia May Jagger's career with considerable interest since she first broke into the modeling scene in the summer of 2008. Since then Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall's genetically gifted offspring scored a gig as the face of Versace and posed for luxury denim brand Hudson Jeans. Now Georgia May has been tapped for Hudson's newest ad campaign as well, shot by Mario Sorrenti at Alder Manor, a restored 1912 mansion in Yonkers, New York. The sexy snaps are some of the young stunner's most provocative yet, with Jagger posing topless in most of the shots. "Georgia May is a true embodiment of the spirit of the Hudson brand," Ben Taverniti, creative director of Hudson Jeans, tells Vogue UK. "She doesn't try, she's just cool. She has that certain Je ne sais quoi."

Mick Jagger's Sexy Daughter the New Face of Versace

Things are certainly going well for Mick Jagger's model daughter Georgia May Jagger as we first predicted back in the summer of 2008. Of course with a Rolling Stone for a dad and Jerry Hall for a mom what else would one expect for the 17-year-old stunner? In September we noted she had landed a sexy new ad campaign for Hudson Jeans; now she has made the cover of British Vogue and been named the new face of Versace. Jagger has just been photographed for the ad campaign by Mario Testino. "She's smart, beautiful, full of energy and has a strong personality [with] that natural high star quality. I adore her," Donatella Versace told WWD. "She's perfect for this collection - a real Versace girl."

Norman Parkinson: A Very British Glamour

British photographer Norman Parkinson's name may not be terribly well known today, but his influence on a subsequent generation of fashion photographers is obvious from a new survey of his work just published by Rizzoli. Norman Parkinson: A Very British Glamour is a lavish portrait of Parkinson's long career from the 1930s through the 1980s, produced in a unique collaboration with the Norman Parkinson Archive in London. Parkinson got his start at Vogue in London, was a protégé of the great Alexander Lieberman at American Vogue when he came to New York, and did some of his most innovative work in the Diana Vreeland years there. In a career that spanned more than four decades, Parkinson worked with the greatest models, from Carmen Dell'Orefice, often called the first supermodel, who was Parkinson's early muse, to the young Jerry Hall, whom Parkinson shot for her first Vogue cover as well as in an historic 1975 shoot staged in the USSR. His iconic photographs for the likes of Vogue, Queen, and Harper's Bazaar are reproduced in the volume alongside a trove of previously unpublished fashion work.

Mick Jagger's Daughter Stars in Sexy New Ad Campaign

Last summer we reported that Mick Jagger's beautiful daughter Georgia May Jagger was embarking on a modeling career, following in the fashionable footsteps of the rocker's other daughters, Jade and Elizabeth. Now the 17-year-old Georgia May, whose mother is Texan stunner Jerry Hall, has landed a sexy ad campaign for Hudson Jeans (above) evoking Brigitte Bardot. Georgia May, who has one year of school left and lives with her mother in London, tells the October issue of Vanity Fair that modeling is just a temporary gig for her while she tries to break into art, design and photography. With her genes that shouldn't be too hard. As for her sexy poses, she tells the mag that daddy Mick "doesn't hate it at all."

Lagerfeld Picks Jerry Hall for New Chanel Campaign

This past summer we reported on the burgeoning modeling career of 16-year-old Georgia May Jagger, Mick Jagger's daughter by Texan stunner Jerry Hall (above). Now her mom's doing a bit of modeling once again; she's been picked by Karl Lagerfeld to star in the new Chanel ad campaign. The campaign is based on Cheri, a novel by French author Colette about a woman who embarks on a sexual relationship with a much younger man. Hall will star alongside male model Baptiste Giabiconi, who will be portrayed seeking the uber-cougar's affections on a bed strewn with a quilt - and one of Chanel's iconic quilted handbags, WWD reports. We wonder if the campaign is the one shot at Karl's new spread in Vermont?

Mick Jagger's Latest Model Daughter

Looks like wrinkly Rolling Stone Mick Jagger has sired yet another gorgeous girl: Georgia May Jagger, 16, his daughter by Texan stunner Jerry Hall. Following in the fashionable footsteps of the rocker's other daughters, Jade and Elizabeth, Georgia May just made her modeling debut in the UK for the London Mail on Sunday's magazine, and has signed with the Independent Talent agency. To our eyes, Georgia May has a major modeling career ahead of her. Having Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall for parents won't hurt either, obviously. And we bet we haven't seen the last of her dad's stunning offspring; after all, he has sired seven children with four different women (that we know of).
