Little Hobbits Bring in the Big Bucks
We've seen great, 1st edition books like the Harry Potter series sell for some serious money but JRR Tolkien is giving JK Rowling a run for the top spot. Recently, the 1937 first edition of The Hobbit sold for £60,000 at auction to an anonymous bidder -- two times what is was expected to bring in! Other unique Tolkien-esque keepsakes were included at the auction including a photograph of the writer.
