Designer's BMW SX Concept Shows the Way Foward
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

Say what you will about BMW's designs, at least they get people talking. Now that the Bavarian automaker's controversial designer Chris Bangle has left the company, things have been toned down a little. But that won't stop a budding generation of aspiring car stylists from pitching in their ideas for what direction future Bimmers should take. What you see here is the work of one Iulian Bumbu, a design student in Milan. His concept is called the BMW S.X., and it forms a convincing notion of the way forward for one of the most forward-thinking carmakers in the industry. Future 6 Series coupe anyone? Maybe the next Z4? We've taken notice, and the bean-counters in Munich would do well to do the same.
