Emma&Emilie Prepares a Fall Line Promising Smooth Transitions

Angelika McKay and Naomi Reyna are the duo behind LA-based eco-luxury fashion label Emma&Emilie, and they've shot some of the items in their latest boutique collection. The focus this time is transition – as in, moving from day-to-night while keeping all of those beats in place.

In American-Apparel fashion, Emma&Emile works with the best local mills to provide pieces in comfy organic cottons, luxe and stretchy modals, plus hemp and bamboo in jersey and French terry. When your day date turns into evening cocktails, pieces like the Maya top and Elaine dress and its reversible deep drape mean the only transition you might need to make is from Pinot Grigio to Belvedere on the rocks.

White + Warren Gets Into the Handbag Business

Cashmere maker White + Warren has jumped on the handbag bandwagon with two neutral styles. Today we highlight The Hemp Traveler, a weekender bag. This practical bag (except for the color -- I see it getting dirty, quickly), has a hemp exterior and genuine pebble leather trim, and is fully lined with protective nylon. Also: detachable interior zip pouch for everyday essentials, five interior compartment pockets, interior and exterior zip pockets, a detachable shoulder strap, metal feet, and a detachable leather id tag/card holder. Although considered a weekender bag, the way handbag styles are headed in my neck of the woods (big, bigger, gigantic), this could just as easily be a city girl's daytime bag or commuter bag. 22" x 13" x 8", $595.

Zion Truffle Collection

Who knew that you could "experience Rastafarian culture" through chocolates? The Zion Truffle Collection from Vosages is an exquisite collection that showcases some of the flavors of Jamaica with five unique flavor blends, shown above from left to right:

I-tal - Blue Mountain coffee, organic fresh coconut and dark chocolate
Selassie - pumpkin puree, Jamaican pepper, dark chocolate and organic roasted pumpkin seeds
Rasta - Appleton Estate rum, fresh ginger, white chocolate, organic hibiscus and sorrel flowers
Kaya - hemp seed nuts and milk chocolate
Zion - Red Stripe beer, dark chocolate and cocoa nibs

Because the truffles are made with fresh ingredients, including fresh cream, they only have a shelf-life of ten days, which should be more than enough time to polish off all 16 of the pieces that come in this collection. Price: $41.
