Hornig Foundation lets the buyers determine where the money goes and which nonprofits receive funds. Hornig chose the symbolism of a wrench for the Haiti initiative, the wrench has a dual meaning, representing the heartwrenching situation in the earthquake-ravaged nation and the tools needed to repair and rebuild. The sterling silver 'working together' necklace features both an open and a closed wrench on a 24-inch sterling silver chain.
