Hotel Chauvet Condo Auction

It's been a while since we've seen a condo auction like this. On April 28, six condos inside the Hotel Chauvet in Glen Ellen, California will be auctioned off. The hotel was created in 1906 by Joshua Chauvet who also built a winery, a brick kiln and a saloon. The hotel has been renovated using brick from the Chauvet kiln and upscale interiors have been added. Hotel Chauvet is also a landmark with a past, it has been a brothel, a speakeasy and a restaurent. Each is a condo is 2,000-square-feet with three bedrooms, two baths, gourmet kitchens and private balconies or patios. The ground floor units are live/work and the top-floor penthouses feature multiple skylights. The Chauvet will be opne for walk-throughs each weekend until the auction.
