Michel Comte Exhibit Opens at Prague's Leica Gallery

A new exhibit of Swiss photographer Michel Comte's eye-popping photographs, including several nude supermodels such as Gisele Bundchen (above), has opened at the Leica Gallery in Prague run by the famed camera maker. A trained art restorer and self-taught photographer, Comte came to prominence in 1979 with his first advertising commission for Karl Lagerfeld's fashion label Chloé. One of the top names in fashion and magazine photography, his work fetches tens of thousands of dollars at auction and has appeared in Vanity Fair, Vogue and many others. Some of Comte's other celebrity subjects include Sharon Stone, Jeremy Irons, Cindy Crawford and Carla Bruni.

Gisele Slashes Asking Price on Her Penthouse

Brazilian bombshell Gisele Bundchen just slashed a whopping $5 million off the original asking price on her Manhattan penthouse. The supermodel first listed the West Village spread at $10.9 million last September, then lowered the price a few times, ending up at $7.9 million before withdrawing it from the market in the spring.

Now the Wall Street Journal reports Bundchen just re-listed the pad for $5.9 million, a nearly 50% reduction. She paid almost $3 million for the modern 1,700-sq.ft. triplex with a wraparound terrace and roofdeck overlooking the Hudson River in 2002.

Meanwhile, the Journal also notes that Bundchen's beau, football star Tom Brady, has upped the price on his 3,000-sq.ft., three-bedroom apartment at the Time Warner Center. He first listed it in 2007 for $16.5 million before taking it off the market. He has now re-listed the spread at $18.29 million, about a 30% increase.

B�ndchen by Dolce & Gabbana

Gisele Bunchen, one of the richest models in the world (if not the richest), has been the face of Dolce & Gabbana's fragrance and clothing, but now she'll be lending more than just her good looks to the designer label: she's teaming up with them to launch her own line of "chic and feminine" spring wear. It seems everything Gisele touches turns to gold (as the face of D&G's 'The One' fragrance she's helped skyrocket sales to £75 million), so if past performance holds true her designs should be very popular. The line will be called "Bündchen by Dolce & Gabbana," and the launch is expected in March 2008.

--Men's Health editor-in-chief Dave Zinczenko has paid $3.795 million for a full-floor, three-bedroom unit at the new 744 Greenwich Street condominium.
-- Sharon Percy Rockefeller, the daughter of one Senator and the wife of another has purchased a $2.175 million Manhattan apartment overlooking a very fancy MoMA sculpture garden.
--Peter Peterson, senior chairman and co-founder of the newly public Blackstone Group, who recently bought David Geffen's duplex penthouse at 810 Fifth Avenue for $37.5 million is looking to sell his 11th-floor apartment at River House likely for somewhere between $9 and $10 million. --Actor Billy Bob Thornton has bought a four-bedroom house in Malibu that was listed at $2,410,000.

--Wilmer Valderrama has put his Tarzana compound on the market at $2.25 million. The home has five bedrooms, a pool, pool house and a gym.
--Jenilee Harrison, who played Jamie Ewing on "Dallas" and Cindy Snow on "Three's Company," and her chiropractor husband, Bruce Oppenheim, have sold their Sherman Oaks property for $1.1 million.
--Kevin Williamson, who wrote the screenplays for the "Scream" series of films and the TV series "Dawson's Creek," has purchased a late-'40s, modern-style house in Palm Springs for $1.5 million.
