Chrome Grille Decanters by Nicholas Brawer

There's one in every family: someone who loves cars and alcohol...often in equal measure. And while we wouldn't condone driving under the influence, we do have what could very well be the ultimate gift for that special someone.

This set of chrome and glass decanters are crafted in England by Nicholas Brawer. Each of the five replicates the radiator grille from a classic Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Bugatti, Mercedes-Benz or Jaguar motor car. Price is available from the retailer upon request.

Retro Leather X Porteur Bike Complete with Flask

Filed under: Gadgets, Sports, Men's Style

The Leather X Porteur bicycle covered in saddle leather is a one-off project from French designer Nicolas Yvars that's handmade using vintage parts. Yvars tells BikeRadar.com the beautiful bespoke conveyance combines his three passions – "leathercraft, street fashion and luxury" – and is modeled on a type of bicycle once used by newspaper sellers in Paris. It took him more than a year to track down the parts which he assembled himself, outsourcing only the frame painting and wheelbuilding. Bespoke touches include a hip flask attachment under the saddle and hand-stitched detailing on the leatherwork. Yvars says he has no plans to produce the bike, which combines great looks with agility and comfort, but is using it to promote his marketing company, Ateliers d'Embellie. However with think that demand for the Leather X Porteur might turn out to be so great he'll consent to assemble others for the right price.

Men's Exotic Skin Items, From Luxury Accessories Intl.

New York City-based Luxury Accessories International (LAI) began as a leather importer in New York in 1953, importing crocodile skins from South America and selling them to makers of shoes, handbags, and other leather goods. In 1971 the company expanded the range of skins to include python from Indonesia, ostrich from South Africa, and lizard from South America. Today, the company makes a variety of high-end products for men and women, but I'm going to focus on the men. Where to begin? Belts, bags, a flask, a watch box, portfolios, wallets ... all custom dyed all over the world and made with skins selected by hand for cutting at the LAI manufacturing house in Long Island City, N.Y. Orders are individually cut and sewn, and often customized, but the LAI boutique at 35 E. 65th St., NYC, offers custom pieces.

You know something's expensive when every piece on the Web site is followed by: "To purchase, please contact the LAI Boutique: 212-794-3874." So I can't help you with pricing, but if you see something you like, give LAI a ring. See the gallery for a few of the beautiful pieces.

Bridesmaid Gift: Pink Flask

'Tis the season for brides--and bridesmaids' gifts. Having been a bridesmaid on numerous occasions, I've received some lovely gifts, mostly in the form of jewelry or wraps. I love the gifts, but I do pity my bride friends who have to hunt for a gift to please sometimes 10 bridesmaids.  Here's one alternative: go unconventional and pick out something like this pink flask. Even if some of your bridesmaids aren't the kind of girls to be knocking back shots, at least it's original. And with the monogram, personal. At TheKnot.com; $19.95 (add $4.75 for monogram).

Bodum Lipstick Flask

Filed under: Dining, Luxury Travel & Hotels

Not all ladies have time to lunch. Some don't even have time to stop in for a latte while they're on the go from meeting to meeting or party to party. Bodum's Lipstick Flask really resembles a giant tube of fire-engine red lipstick, its streamlined, high-gloss exterior giving way to an interior full of what busy women need most: caffeine.

Ok. It doesn't have to be full of coffee. In fact, we think that it is very stylish all on its own. How many of your friends have a tube of lipstick this big, after all? The vacuum-sealed thermos will keep up to 34-ounces of whatever you fill it with perfectly secure - hot or cold - for hours. And, of course, it will look great doing it. Price: $29.99.
