Evian Unveils Issey Miyake Bottle

Evian has announced its latest designer collaboration. The spring water brand has worked with fashion designer Issey Miyake to create the fourth annual limited edition designer bottle. Miyake joins previous Evian bottle designers Christian Lacroix, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Paul Smith. The cheery bottle is decorated with a bright flower meant to embody the evian signature message, "Live young." The inspiration for the bottle sprung from the Pleats Please line for which Issey Miyake is known. The Issey Miyake Limited Edition evian bottle is now available for pre-sale at www.ShopEvian.com. Colette Store Showcases Swarovski Crystal Treasures

We never tire of Swarovski crystal bedazzled items. If you are of a similar mind then the Colette shop is pretty much heaven right about now. They currently have a variety of tempting Swarovski collaborations up for sale featuring some of the most exciting names in design. There are curving jewelry pieces from Zaha Hadid, Cinderella-worthy pumps from Maison Martin Margiela, a surfboard from Quiksilver, water corks from Evian and baroque brooches from Christopher Kane. The glittering sneakers shown above are a special edition of the Jeremy Scott x adidas J-Wings and sell for 2,500 euros (only one size available).

Paul Smith Limited Edition Evian Bottle

Evian Natural Spring Water has partnered with brilliant British fashion designer Sir Paul Smith on a new limited edition bottle (above). The bottle is adorned in vibrant colors with a festive theme and a nod to Smith's signature stripes. It's also designed to echo Evian's latest youth-oriented ad campaign, "Live Young". Smith's design is the third in a series of designer bottles commissioned by the classic spring water from the French Alps, following one by Christian Lacroix in 2008 and last year's model by Jean Paul Gaultier. Smith's bottle comes with five different collectible caps. "Youth is not just a question of age, it's also a question of attitude," Smith notes. The bottles are available for pre-sale now on www.ShopEvian.com, and will make their way to fine dining establishments and gourmet retailers nationwide beginning in November.

Evian Babies Take Over The Web

We've seen some unique marketing stunts from Evian before but nothing like this. The French water brand has partnered with designer brands before but this time their partners are a bunch of special effects babies. The new advertising campaign, called "Live Young" features CGI-enhanced breakdancing and roller-skating babies. The Wall Street Journal reports that the video has already had 2.8 million views on YouTube in the U.S., and another 2.3 million internationally. The computer animation features babies cavorting around doing daredevil antics and skating around bottles of Evian to a remixed version song "Rapper's Delight."

The Wall Street Journal article questions whether or not the dancing babies are cute or creepy. They don't work for me in terms of promoting Evian but many people seem to find them adorable. Check out the video and vote below:

Evian Plus Jean-Paul Gaultier Plus Baccarat Equals The Most Extravagant Water Bottles Yet

The Evian Jean-Paul Gaultier bottles were nice but the new ones designed with Baccarat are in a league of their own. The Evian x Jean-Paul Gaultier x Baccarat take on the concept of purity, Evian's main selling feature, in five different incarnations, the bubbles bottle, drops bottle, tray bottle and spring bottle. France's colette will present them from March 16th to 21st and at Maison Baccarat March 24th to 30th before they are auctioned on April 7th at Artcurial, to raise money for the RAMSAR convention.

Evian Teams with Jean Paul Gaultier

Amidst the catwalk flurry at Paris Fashion Week, a new collaboration made its debut: Evian and Jean Paul Gaultier. In the second of its designer series (the first pairing was with Christian Lacroix), Evian announces its release of two bottles designed by the Hermès creative director.

Gaultier has fashioned the Prêt-à-Porter bottle (interlocking snowflakes, oversized lettering) and the Haute Couture bottle (only seven produced worldwide). The Prêt-à-Porter version is available for pre-order on shopevian.com at $13.95 a bottle.

Evian Les Petits Natural Spring Water

Evian has launched a new, smaller bottle of water -- with kid-friendly graphics and a reminder to moms that a few laps around the playground do leave Junior rather parched. The 330 mL mini bottle was designed to fit neatly into a kid's lunchbox, a child's grip and the back to school shopping list. The six-pack of French Alps water has a suggested retail price of $5.99 and will arrive on shelves this month.

Evian Limited Edition Bottle By Christian Lacroix

When I mentioned the new Palace bottle by Evian a few weeks back, a few savvy commenters clued me in to the fact that a new Evian Limited Edition by flounce-loving French designer Christian Lacroix was on the way. Luxury Launches has uncovered the pictures of the bottles. There are two versions the Evian pret-a-porter which has a frosted lace pattern over the bottle and the Haute Couture version, a glass bottle in the shape of an ice queen with a voluminous alpine skirt. The pret-a-porter bottle will sell for around $6 in gourmet grocery stores. As for the Haute Couture version, I am guessing it will turn up on eBay at some point (the standard version of the Lacroix bottle is already there with a buy-it-now price of $50. At least these editions are not as unwieldy as the mountain-shaped bottles used for previous limited editions.

Evian Palace Bottle

I've covered the fancy bottles from Evian before but their new bottle is even more lavish. The Palace Bottle comes with the Palace pourer and the the Palace coaster which basically turn the bottle into an elegant carafe for serving. The new deign will be available in select hotels, restaurants and clubs and will sell for $15 to $20.

Designer Water Brands

If you need to get your fix of designer water, like Bling h20, you might want to try taking a look at the selection of luxury bottled water at Aqua Distribution. Their selection of high-end waters runs from Llanllyr water, which has been drawn from the same spring since 1180 BCE to a limited edition 2007 Evian that comes in a custom bottle. As you might guess from the name, they sell the water buy the case. This shouldn't be a problem as long as you intend to drink more than just one bottle of water and, as luxury water is still a must-have accessory for those who are out to be seen, going through a case should take no time at all.
