The Brit Insurance Design Awards are called "the Oscars of the design world" and showcase some of the world's most intriguing offerings in seven categories: architecture, fashion, furniture, graphics, interactive, product and transport. Items from the shortlist for this year's Brit Insurance Design Awards are on display in an exhibition at the Design Museum in London and include everything from Swarovski chandeliers to the popular Angry Birds game.
