De La Espada Square Sideboard
Sideboards are often lowslung and take up a lot of space so I love the look of this square sideboard from De La Espada. De La Espada makes a variety of pieces that have a modern design sense and are made from white oak and black walnut taken from sustainable forests in the United States and created by hand in their Madrid factory. Their pieces can be ordered online and there are also showrooms in New York, San Francisco and London. They are also willing to customize any piece to your specifications provided that " your request conforms to our style, design ethos and our choice of materials, and is technically feasible." Given their clean-lined looks they probably aren't given to rococo scrolls but anything else might be up for grabs. The sideboard costs $5995 for oak and $6695 for walnut.
