Custom Tramontana Supercar "Art" for Sale at $2.9 Million

A unique customized Spanish Tramontana supercar (above) hand-painted by renowned artist Fernando Leal-Audirac is for sale in Milan via global online luxury marketplace JamesList for €2 million, or about $2.95 million. The twin-turbo Tramontana R, unveiled over at our sister site Autoblog earlier this year, has a V12 engine capable of 760 hp and a 0 -100 kph time of 3.6 seconds. Leal-Audirac used special metallic paints enriched with gold and the powder of precious gems - hence the pricetag - to paint the carbon fiber-bodied exotic auto, designed in homage to the famed Hispano-Suiza marque. The iridescent colors react to movement and light changing them from purple to cobalt blue, and from green to gold. The car is "the synthesis of the artist's poetic vision in which art, tradition, technique, design and technology coexist through a constant research, incarnating the charm, the myth and the dynamics of contemporaneity," the artists notes.

Mansory Vitesse Rosé Bentley

Exotic auto tuner Mansory is known for making supercars into something more extreme. We've covered their $2.5 million Bugatti Veyron "Vincero" and their carbon fiber Porsche Cayenne Turbo "Chopster," both far over the top yet rendered in dark colors so as to be a bit stealthy. Their latest creation, based on a Bentley, is considerably more gauche - the Vitesse Rosé Continental GT Speed, done up in a shade of pink only Paris Hilton or Malibu Barbie could love. A carbon fiber bonnet and rear lip and some chrome accents can't save this monstrous creation, which features an even more alarming two-tone pink and mauve leather interior. Luckily, Mansory has promised to only make three of them.

"Star of India" Rolls-Royce Now Listed at $13 Million

Last month we wrote about the famed "Star of India" 1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom II convertible custom made for an Indian Maharaja, slated to be auctioned off by a German collector. Now the incredible car has been listed for sale via online global luxury marketplace JamesList for £8 million, or about $13 million. If it fetches that price, the one-of-a-kind Rolls could capture the world's most expensive car title (in terms of confirmed sales), beating out the 1957 Ferrari Testa Rossa that recently sold at auction for $12 million. The 40/50 HP Continental "All-Weather Convertible" features polished aluminum bodywork and saffron paint evoking the Indian spirit of Hindutva. The car is being sold off by famed Rolls-Royce collector Hans-Günther Zach, who's liquidating his private museum dedicated to the marque.

The Eleanor Mustang

Our siblings at Autoblog covered this way back in February but if you are looking a sexy ride like the one Nicolas Cage drove in "Gone in 60 Seconds" you can get your own version of the Eleanor Mustang. Classic Recreations, a custom supercar shop in Oklahoma, creates the special-edition Eleanor Mustangs which are available in a fuel-injected version with 535hp for $139,900, or a supercharged 770hp fuel-injected version for $189,900. The car is built with brand new bodies and modern sports car suspension for a racear feel.

The car has performance features such as as sequential fuel injection, giant cross-drilled Baer brakes and a custom 410cid Keith Craft Racing engine. It also has keyless entry, an in-dash DVD, five-point racing harnesses and custom leather interior. It takes approximately four months to build these turn-key muscle cars and each one has an original serial number.
