I'm Not Here, I'm Really Walking the Red Carpet

Filed under: Celebrity Shopping, Cosmetics and Fragrance

Walking the Red CarpetNOT SOAP, RADIO, a beauty product company popular with celebs from Anna Kendrick to Penelope Cruz, has released a fabulous line of products we can use to pamper ourselves just like the stars.

I'm Not Here, I'm Really Walking the Red Carpet is a set of three items: Exfoliating Sugared Body Polish, Body Souffle Body Whipped Lotion, and Just Glow Dry Oil Perfume Spray in a series of "I'm Not Here, I'm Really ..." collections. Fans of the black and red currant, rose and jasmine blend Red Carpet set include Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox among others. For $59, you can have the same set -- and there's free shipping on orders over $50, as well as free samples available.

Our question is, do they use them for walking the red carpet, or for nights when they wish they were? Other collections include:
  • I'm not here, I'm really meditating in a zen garden -- lotus flower, cooling greens, ginger, melon
  • I'm not here, I'm really at the country club -- Champagne sugar: lemon, bergamot, dew fruit, pineapple, gardenia
  • I'm not here, I'm really up at a mountain retreat -- rhubarb, wild spearmint, jasmine, lily of the valley, vanilla
  • I'm not here, I'm really on holiday in Tuscany -- tangerine, neroli, bergamot, lime, sweet tea
  • I'm not here, I'm really island hopping -- coconut, lemongrass, vanilla, verbena, musk
  • I'm not here, I'm really on vacation in a quaint seaside village -- nectarine blossom, honey, peach, black currant, green mandarin
Those all sound like better places to be than our humble bathtubs. Let Not Soap, Radio transport you.

Courtney Cox And David Arquette Collaborate On Charity Jewelry Line

Hollywood couple Courtney Cox and David Arquette have become the latest celebrities to have a jewelry line, but theirs is for a good cause. The pair have collaborated with Satya Jewelry on a line of butterfly-themed pieces to raise awareness of a genetic condition, epidermolysis bullosa (EB). Courtney Cox told Vogue that the couple got involved when the son of a close friend was born with the condition which manifests in extremely fragile skin and recurrent blister formation similar to the look of a third-degree burn. The young sufferers are known as "butterfly children" because their skin is as fragile as a butterfly wing.

The Satya Foundation donates 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of the jewelry to the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation, which supports the fight to find a cure for this rare childhood skin disease. Pieces range in price from $24 for a silver pendant to $348 for the gold version shown above.

Bumble Bells - Celebs Splurge on their Babies

Jessica Alba and Honor Marie WarrenCelebrities like Jessica Alba (right, with baby girl Honor Marie Warren), Courteney Cox Arquette, and even Gwen Stefani have been adorning their babies' ankles with this summer's hot accessory for kids -- Bumble Bells.

Bumble Bells are not just tiny, adorable, audible anklets. They began with a future mom who went to Thailand:

"It all started when Mommy took a trip to Thailand. She saw a little boy toddling around in beautiful silver anklets with tiny bells on them. Everywhere he went, his parents could hear him toddling. And that sweet sound of his bumbling footsteps made Mommy swear that when she had a baby, she would procure herself a pair of those adorable anklets."

And you can guess what she did -- she had a baby and started her own company to bring Bumble Bells to the world!

The tiny anklets are ASTM-certified for safety, and can be worn all day and even to bed at night. The bells run from $45 (sterling silver) to $575 for the Eden Bells, Twinkle Bells, and Sea Shell Bells in gold (see gallery). You can even get a grownup-sized anklet for $97. A portion of all profits goes to Head Start. We like that.
