Le Rituel: A Louboutin To Drink From
The tradition of drinking champagne from a woman's shoe began in the 1880s in France. Piper Heidsieck revives this tradition with Le Rituel a new collaboration with shoemaker Christian Louboutin. The set includes a bottle of champagne and a red-soled Louboutin glass stiletto. The website for the project says it will be available in the U.S. on October 19. When it comes to Christian Louboutin, I immediately think of high heeled red sole shoes. I never think of flats.
