Bruce Willis's Latest Mission: Save The Vodka?

Movie star Bruce Willis has been appearing in ads for Sobieski vodka for the last few month but now he's ready to take a more active role. He will be joining the board of directors of the French drinks group Belvedere, the owner of the Polish-made Sobieski vodka brand. A statement from the company said that Willis "expressed his wish to become a shareholder of reference alongside its management and to be fully associated with the group's marketing strategy." If approved, je will officially become part of the board at the next general meeting of shareholders. The company isn't doing that well. It currently has debts of around $800 million and was placed under bankruptcy protection by a French court. Shares of Belvedere rose to their highest rate in months after the news was announced.

Tilda Swinton Is The New Face Of Pringle Of Scotland

One of the benefits of having the beautiful androgyne Tilda Swinton rep your fashion line is that you get two models for the price of one. The respected actress will be the face of both the menswear and womenswear lines for Pringle of Scotland. Swinton will appear in a campaign to be shot by photographer Ryan McGinley in Scotland. The campaign for the spring/summer 2010 line with both print images and a short film of Swinton will be unveiled during London Fashion Week in September.

Bruce Willis To Be Paid Millions For Vodka Endorsement

Like his celebrity friend, Sylvester Stallone, actor Bruce Willis has a lucrative deal promoting vodka. Willis has signed with Belvedere brands to back Polish Sobieski vodka. Polish sources say that Willis has signed a four-year contract worth a cool $16 million. The ad campaign should start this month and will appear in Spain, France, the Baltic States, Ukraine and China but not the U.S. Sobieski isn't well known here but according to one ranking it is currently the seventh most popular vodka brand in the world. And Belvedere hopes that Willis will push it up a few notches.Ads won't appear on TV or on billboards due to legal restrictions but Willis will appear in a print campaign and attend key vodka events in these countries.

Scarlett Johansson's Moet Poses

Last week I mentioned that Scarlett Johansson is the new face of Moet & Chandon. Now the Daily Mail has a look at the sexy photos to be used in the ad campaign. In the pictures, a blonde Johanasson pops a cork, cozies up to an ice bucket, and in my favorite shot, holds a champagne glass between her toes. Check out the rest of the ad images here.

Scarlett Johansson Is The Face Of Moet

Moet & Chandon has a new face for its champagne, the first movie star to front for the brand. They introduced celebrity spokesperson, Scarlett Johansson at the "Tribute to Cinema" gala at London's Big Sky studio. Also on the guest list were Thandie Newton, Joseph Fiennes and Melanie Laurent and celebrities were invited to autograph a Moet & Chandon Nebuchadnezzar, to be auctioned off in support of Scarlett's charity of choice, Oxfam. Moet will launch an advertising campaign starring Scarlett Johansson which was shot by renowned photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

Stallone Earns Big Money For Vodka Ads

Sylvester Stallone, has battled Russians in the movies but now he is happy to say "There's a bit of Russian in all of us." That's the slogan for the new ads he is doing in Russian for the vodka brand Russian Ice. Russian vodka producer Synergy announced that Stallone signed a one-year contract to promote the brand. Despite the fact that his character Rocky pummeled Soviet boxer Ivan Drago in Rocky IV and his other iconic action hero, John Rambo mowed down Soviet troops in Afghanistan, Stallone is popular in Russia. Synergy is also tauting the fact that Stallone, though most known for his Italian heritage, does have a Russian great-grandmother, Rosa Rabinovich from the Ukranian town of Odessa. Stallone will pocket around $1 million for the ads.
