Soap Star Tracey Bregman Launches Jewelry Line In Canada

tracey bregmanSoap opera actress Tracey Bregman, who plays Lauren Fenmore on CBS' "The Young and the Restless" spent her Super Bowl Sunday in an interesting way, she launched a new jewelry line in Canada. Her line, the Tracey Bregman Collection debuted on The Shopping Channel, Canada's only nationally televised shopping service yesterday. Items range in price from simple silver pieces for less than $100 to fancier items featuring sapphires and diamonds in 14K gold. The items are available online at The Shopping Channel. Check out Tracey's interview on the Marilyn Denis show here. When it comes to celebrity jewelry lines, Bregman joins a packed field that includes everyone from Kim Kardashian to Serena Williams.

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher Create Handcuff Jewelry for Valentine's Day

Nothing says love like handcuffs? Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are the latest celebrity couple to create a jewelry collection. Moore and Kutcher worked with jeweler Jack Vartanian to create a collection of necklaces in the shape of handcuffs. But the cuffs aren't just meant to be provocative, they are also meant to draw attention to a key issue, child sex slavery. Half of the sales will go to the Demi and Ashton (DNA) Foundation, a non-profit organization, to raise awareness about this issue. Prices range from $710 to $2,140 and come in variations of white, yellow and rose gold. some with black or white diamonds. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie also have a line of jewelry that benefits a children's charity.

Sharon Stone Designs Charity Jewelry Line For Damiani

sharon stoneSharon Stone has been the face of Damiani jewelry since 2008. Now she has created a new line of jewelry that benefits a charity initiative. Stone and Damiani are supporting The Clean Water project which will build wells for extracting clean water in African villages. The Maji (maji means "water" in Swahili language) collection is the first in the series of "Sharon Stone for Damiani" lines. Part of the proceeds from sales will be donated to non-government and no-profit humanitarian associations that raise funds to build wells.

The jewelry includes rings, pendants, bracelets and earrings with rough diamonds set on burnished gold or silver and are signed by Sharon Stone and Damiani. Stone was on hand at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel recently to unveil the collection. At the event Stone talked to Extra about her visit to Uganda, why she is believes that access to water is an essential human right and the work done by Drop In A Bucket initiative to put in clean water wells and latrines.

Cheryl Cole Launches Capsule Collection With Promise Ring

British singer Cheryl Cole has a unique tie-in with her new single, "Promise This." Last week was at the launch party for "Promise", a design collaboration with jeweler, Fawaz Gruosi, the founder of de Grisogono. The first piece from her new capsule collection is a rose gold and blackened silver ring that spells out the word "Promise" with a heart-like "m." The ring is designed to be worn on the pinky finger. It sells for 920 euros (approximately $1,270). At the Cannes Film Festival this summer, the company paid Cole £250,000 for a 30-minute performance. Several of Cole's Girls Aloud bandmates showed up to support her at the event which was the first appearance she made in several months after suffering a bout of malaria.

Kate Bosworth Collaborates on JewelMint Monthly Jewelry Club

Kate Bosworth is the celebrity face behind a new costume jewelry site that uses the "push shopping" concept to attract customers to monthly deals. JewelMint, from social shopping company BeachMint, has a subscription model. Those who pay $29.99 each month can pick out one piece of jewelry designed by Bosworth and her stylist Cher Coulter (if you don't see anything one month you can skip a month). Each subscriber completes a style quiz that helps JewelMint tailor its monthly jewelry selections to each person. The designs will sell for 70 percent off of retail prices. As TechCrunch noted, ShoeDazzle, which is promoted by Kim Kardashian, has a similar model. Will be push shopping be the new private sale with a bunch of brands flooding the marketplace?

Kim Kardashian's Latest Jewelry Line

Just how many jewelry lines does one reality television star need? If you are Kim Kardashian the magic number might be three. People says that Kardashian is launching yet another jewelry line, this time with Pascal Mouawad, a man who is no stranger to partnering with celebrities. He also is behind Nicole Ritchie's House of Harlow line and Heidi Klum's line of fine jewelry in addition to creating Victoria's Secret's jewel-covered bras.

Kim Kardashian has already collaborated with her sisters on a jewelry line with Virgins, Saints and Angels and has a line of earrings with Loren Jewels. Her line of costume jewelry, Kim Kardashian's Belle Noel by Pascal Mouawad will launch in January 2011. People, which has sketches of the Honey Hexagon line, reports that the 75-piece line will be sold in department stores, specialty stores and select online stores. Other lines in the collection include Glam Rock, Gold Clusters and Peek-a-Boo. Kardashian has said that the line was inspired by great costume jewelry designs of the 1930s and will include both smaller everyday pieces and more lavish statement jewels. The prices will range from $11-$150.

Priscilla Presley, Shoshanna Gruss Head To QVC

Two more celebrities will be debuting jewelry lines on QVC. The home shopping network will be featuring lines by Shoshanna Gruss and Priscilla Presley, two names whose claim to fame began with who they were involved with. Shoshanna Gruss (nee Lonstein), now a popular fashion designer, first came to media attention as the very young girlfriend of Jerry Seinfield years ago. She's launching her Shoshanna's Fashion Jewelry Essentials collection, a collaboration with another QVC-er Judith Ripka. The costume jewelry line includes crystal heavy pieces like dangling drop earrings and sells from $20 to $80. Her line will debut August 10 at 9 a.m. EDT.

Priscilla Presley's line is the Priscilla Presley Collection, a line of bracelets, necklaces, earrings, rings that is said to have a rock and roll edge. Presley, who was first famous for being Elvis Presley's wife and later an actress and author will be offering fashion jewelry pieces that will sell from about $35 to $170. Her line will debut August 9 at 9 a.m. EDT.

Model Christie Brinkley and television host Cat Deeley also have lines on QVC.

Kim Kardashian's New Earrings Line

Covet the large earrings that Kim Kardashian often wears? Now you can have your own. Kim Kardashian has been wearing Loren Jewels for a while and now Loren Ridinger, creator of Loren Jewels and Kardashian are partnering to design an exclusive line of earrings to be called the "Kim Kollection." This 20-piece collection will incorporate diamonds, emeralds, rubies and other precious gems and metals. The collection has its official launch at the marketamerica.com International Convention on August 7. "Kim's a fashion icon and millions of people are inspired by her style making our collaboration on the "Kim Kollection" a natural fit," said Ridinger in a press release.

Kim Kardashian and her sisters Kourtney and Khloe already have a jewelry line with the brand Virgins, Saints & Angels. Kim's solo line with Loren Jewels is a higher-priced couture line. Loren Ridinger's Loren Jewels pieces often appear on the red carpet and others who have worn her line include Eva Longoria Parker, Jennifer Lopez and Alicia Keys. The blue and white diamond earrings shown above have 38.62 carats of diamonds and sell for $19,000.

Christie Brinkley's Jewelry Line on QVC

Christie Brinkley debuted her jewelry line with QVC over the weekend. Brinkley's new line was inspired by her Hamptons lifestyle, she buys and sells homes in the popular New York vacation destination. We've profiled several of her beautiful homes recently and her jewelry picks up the same soft, muted blues and greens that are often in her decor. The Christie Brinkley Jewelry Collection is done in sterling silver and includes bracelets, cocktail rings and dangle earrings with quartz, sapphires, topaz, agate and other gemstones. At the lower end of the line a woven leather bracelet with a silver clasp is $45. At the high-end a bracelet, shown at right, is set with gemstone cabochons of blue lace agate, moonstone, peridot, blue topaz, aquamarine and amazonite sells for $393. "This line is a celebration of all the things I love." said Brinkley in a press release.

Other famous QVC-ers include television host Cat Deeley, Melania Trump and the Smithsonian Institute.

Nicky Hilton Plans Costume Jewelry Line

Well the hotel idea didn't work out so well and the fashion line seems to be stalled but Nicky Hilton isn't ready to give up on being a designer. FabSugar follows up on a WWD report that has Hilton coming out with a line of costume jewelry this fall. Turns out Paris's little sister has always had a thing for jewelry and has been a collector since she was a teen. She has partnered with Titan Brands on pieces that will be available on Endless.com at first and then spread out to other stores. The collection has themes including Art Deco (inspired by her mother and grandmother's David Webb pieces) and Spike and Snakes.

Gladys Knight To Launch Jewelry Line At Music Festival

gladys knightSinger Gladys Knight is launching her new jewelry line at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans next week. She'll be performing on July 3 and will be at the Gladys Knight Jewelry Booth at the Essence Music Fesitival Marketplace on Friday July 1st from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The line features three different collections: Love, Music and Spirituality & Family. The silver designs incorporate a variety of charms and gemstones. The collection includes beads produced by West African artisans and cooperatives. The communities use recycled materials including glass bottles and old record albums, turning them into decorative beads and discs. A portion of the sales from the Gladys Knight Jewelry Collection will go directly back to the Kumasi Women's Cooperative in Ghana, which will be supplying some of the beads. Cat Deeley Sells Jewelry On QVC

cat deeley"So You Think You Can Dance" host Cat Deeley becomes the latest to join the selling crowds at QVC, showing up on the channel to promote her jewelry. Deeley has created a new line called Cat Deeley Modern Vintage which is now on the QVC website. The pieces range in price from $39 to $200. The designs were influenced by vintage finds from all over the world and include chandelier earrings, multi-strand necklaces and crystal-covered link bracelets.

Other celebs with a QVC line include Donald Trump's wife Melania, Joan Rivers, Marie Osmond and in the home and garden category, Rachael Ray and Paula Deen.

Melania Trump To Debut Jewelry Line On QVC

melania trumpPart of being a Trump it seems is having a few side businesses. Following on the heels of Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka and ex-wife Ivana, Melania Trump is the latest to have a jewelry line. The former model is launching her own line of costume jewelry, "Melania Timepieces and Fashion Jewelry" with QVC. National Jeweler reports that pieces will retail from $30 to $200 and will first air on QVC on April 30 at 9 p.m.

It's a far cry from Ivanka's pricey diamonds but Melania said in a press release that she is proud to debut her "collection of premium, affordable timepieces and jewelry and make it available to millions of women across the country. " Watches in the collection are inspired by streets in her three favorite cities: New York, Paris and Palm Beach. The idea is that those who watch QVC might aspire to Melania's life as the wife of a wealthy jetsetter and can grab their own little luxury. The news follows the recent QVC announcement that it was partnering with the Smithsonian Institution on a line of jewelry based on pieces in the Smithsonian collection.
