CAVI's Cool New Holiday Collection

CAVI, the luxury menswear line known for its distinctive designs as worn by the likes of John Legend, 50 Cent and the Black Eyed Peas, has unveiled its new 2009 Holiday Collection blending casual chic with masculine elegance. The designs range from a Herringbone Vespa Track Jacket, exuding a sense of refined ruggedness, to the classic, tailored cut of the Williamsburg Pullover that evokes an unexpected hint of edge with bold color details. One of our favorite pieces is the Commando Crew (above), a military-inspired sweater in a houndstooth pattern with suede shoulder patches and epaulets, gold buttons and a CAVI crest. Having recently introduced an inspired style to the world of motorsports through an unprecedented partnership with NASCAR racecar driver Chase Austin, CAVI is also taking on the realm of surfing with the exclusive launch of CAVI Sport, as previewed here in August.

Cavi Launches New Line at Surf Lodge in Montauk

CAVI, the luxury menswear line known for its distinctive designs as worn by the likes of Jay-Z, Ne-Yo and 50 Cent, previewed its new surf-inspired CAVI Sport collection during a party at the Surf Lodge in Montauk on Aug. 7. The latest addition to the brand, which as we reported is also giving NASCAR a much needed makeover, consists of colorful and free-spirited board shorts, pima cotton tees, layered jackets, and hoodies. Real Housewives of New York City's Alex McCord and Simon Van Kempen were among the guests who were treated to complimentary cocktails and left the event with gift bags featuring swag from Blue Star Jets, Solstice Sunglass Boutique, and items from the CAVI Sportswear line. The following day, CAVI Sportswear Division partnered with the 11th Annual Rell Sunn Surf Memorial and East End Classics Foundation, Inc., to pay tribute to iconic surfer, Rell Sunn at Montauk's Ditch Plains Beach. The event, which benefits families with hardships on the East End, featured surfing contests, auctions, raffles, valuable prizes, and a great day of riding the waves.

NASCAR Goes Glam Courtesy of CAVI

NASCAR is getting an injection of style this season courtesy of luxury menswear line CAVI. The brand, known for its distinctive designs as worn by the likes of Jay-Z, Ne-Yo and 50 Cent, has partnered with up-and-coming NASCAR star Chase Austin, outfitting Austin and his pit crew with stylish custom uniforms and adorning his Xxxtreme Motorsport No. 7 racecar with the fashion line's logo (above). Austin and the car debuted the new look the other day at Macy's in Indianapolis. From its signature crest to bold colors and prints, tailored fit and innovative design, CAVI has "re-conceptualized the standard for contemporary sportswear, developing a lifestyle fashion brand that embraces both luxury lifestyle and reflects class."
