The Carlos Falchi Glazed Python Dr. Bag is by equal parts fabulous and dazzling.

It's like he took a basic black python bag and BeDazzled it. Like ... really, really well. We can't say this looks like a doctor-style bag to us, but we do love the shape. The gathers at the sides make it feminine enough to stand up to the great big appliquéd BeJewels.

Is it just us, or do the multiple shapes and the spacing remind you of Louis Vuitton? We're certainly not accusing Mr. Falchi of being unoriginal, but if LV did this with their signature shapes, the result would be outrageously awesome.

Today's bag is featured in the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book. While the department store's annual holiday extravaganza is a bit more muted than it has been in previous years there are still plenty of glitzy treats. The Carlos Falchi tote from Neiman Marcus is python-embossed microfiber and measures 17"H x 17"W x 5"D. The handy tote has 10" shoulder handles and comes with a matching zip pouch for cosmetics and small items. The exclusive part is that Carlos agreed to hand sign each one. It comes in black, red or silver with a contrasting signature and sells for $220.

Although not a new concept, a rich-toned python satchel is still lovely. Carlos Falchi adds a bit of his own flair cinching in a little on each side and placing the python pattern in a way that mirrors an ombre style. It is accented by goldtone hardware, double handles with a five-inch drop, a detachable shoulder strap with a 18 1/2" drop, interior pockets and pen holsters. Unfortunately this isn't a terribly unique handbag but it is still quite eye-catching for $2,910. (18" x 12" x 5")

Here's a clutch that's a little different than what I normally pick out -- it's luxe and glamorous but in an edgier, more organic way. It's the Oversized Python Clutch by Carlos Falchi and it has a very tribal vibe with the multi-colored hands showing off their large rings of brightly colored jewel appliques. Thanks to its neutral color palette this bag will go with quite a few outfits, although it's a bold piece that probably shouldn't be paired with too many other patterns or you could end up looking way too 'busy.' $1,510

We gasped when we saw this beautifully painted handbag by Carlos Falchi. A warning to the squeamish and/or Californians among you, though: It's python.

(And you can't get python in California.)

This white python skin bag is hand painted with bright, springy flowers in a sweeping, elegantly abstract design. On the Bergdorf Goodman website, you can zoom in to see the detail of how the brush strokes across the scales, giving the look of the of bag texture and dimension.

This gorgeous, decadent bag is 20"H x 20"W x 8"D, and includes a top zipper with a tassel toggle.

From Carlos Falchi, this large Printed Fur Satchel is eye-catching, to say the least. The bag is big, at 18" x 11.75" x 5.5", but with only a 6-inch drop at the shoulder, it will still tuck nearly under your arm. It is hand made of smooth, red leather with gold accents at both the bottom and the top of the bag. A leopard-print fur flap closes over a satin, paisley-print lining with a magnetic snap. It is gathered with a red, leather strap to which gives the bag a comfortable, casual feel. The satchel is bold and is best paired with a subdued outfit in dark, muted tones or blacks. Carlos Falchi Drawstring Bag

I love all the pastel color handbags that are coming out for the Spring, but what I love even more are handbags that I can wear throughout the year. Carlos Falchi's beautifully handcrafted floral drawstring bag accomplishes just that. Made of dyed aged leather with a pony hair trim, the floral pattern represents what Spring is about, but the earth tone colors allows this bag to be easily used for the Fall. The drawstring is a great functional feature in that you can fully expand the bag to put larger items in, yet close it tightly to maintain its shape. The interior is lined with burnt orange suede.
