Career Gear Puts Celeb Ties Up For Auction
Filed under: Apparel, Auctions, Charity
Sometimes it's the simple things that can make all the difference in someone's life. Career Gear offers disconnected and underserved men business attire and career counseling to help them get new jobs and new starts on life. The Career Gear philosophy is that getting a good job helps men become better fathers and leaders in their community. Career Gear's 10th Anniversary "Capital Persuit" Awards Dinner takes place next month on June 15 at the Edison Ballroom, New York City. This year the event honors, among others, New York Rangers hockey player and fashion aficionado Sean Avery who is donating a full suit to the Career Gear online auction in conjunction with the event. The auction also includes a series of signed ties from celebrities including Eric Bana, Patrick Dempsey, Jimmy Kimmel and Kevin Spacey. The auction begins on June 5 and ends June 14. Tickets to the awards event start at $300.
