Blacksocks.com, One Less Decision In Your Life
Filed under: Men's Style
One of the best ways to get a little more time in your day is to automate as many things as possible. It's not the most exciting thing in the world but not having to think about which underwear you are wearing or what you are going to eat for breakfast leaves more brainpower for the important stuff. Helping you along in your automation goal is Blacksocks.com, a company that sells "subscriptions" for underwear, undershirts and yes, socks. The Swiss e-tailer Blacksocks.com has sold over one million socks since starting in 1999 and former World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz is among its customers. "The target Blacksocks demographic is any man who's looked down to find his toe yawning out of a hole in his sock," said Blacksocks president and founder Samy Liechti. To set it up you select which item you want and how often you want them delivered. So instead of running to the store when your socks gradually get winnowed out due to wear, you don't have to worry, new socks will be on their way. Each sockscription lasts one year and you can choose three, four or six deliveries. A delivery of three pairs of business light black socks every three months costs $95.
