Multiple Yacht Gets A Major Price Chop

Gorgeousness is available at a discount. The 164-foot Benetti yacht Multiple has had a steep discount. The yacht, which was launched in 2002, was built to a Jon Bannenberg design. This streamlined yacht can cruise at 17 knots with a top speed of 21 knots. There are three double cabins and a spacious master suite. This is one of the last yachts designed by Bannenberg before he passed away and it shows the retro-futuristic style the master preferred. Multiple had an original asking price of €25 million and has been cut to €19 million.

Benetti's 213ft Ambrosia

Our friends over at YachtForums.com have a fantastic review of the new yacht Ambrosia from Benetti. This massive 213 Ft superyacht is the third Benetti for its owner and is designed by Stefano Natucci who has designed several other Benetti masterpieces such as the lovely Galaxy. A whopping 6 decks and a 41 ft beam (that's width) give Ambrosia plenty of room for her guests. The decor is acceptable, a little too much beige carpet for my liking, but there are lots of exquisite details to make up for poor flooring choices. No word yet on whether Ambrosia will be up for charter. Cruise on over to YachtForums.com to take the tour.

Philip Green's Lionheart Yacht

A little treat for the yachtspotters. The yacht shown here is the Lionheart. It's the new toy for Philip Green, the free-spending British retail king. Lionheart is  206-foot Benetti and it recently showed up in Monaco where it was caught by the lens of the Monaco Eye, a website that has beautiful pictures of many of the world's most stunning yachts as they coast into the harbor. . The boat cost around £20 million ($37.5 million) and replaces Green's smaller Lionheart.

Benetti & Fincantieri Present: Marco Polo

I'm not sure what to think. I just can't see this boat gliding into Port Hercule in Monaco. But, that is probably the shock level Benetti and Fincantieri want to create with their new design for a 102 meter yacht. With retro features meshed with super-futuristic design, this yacht is sure to garner plenty of looks. The owner's deck is complete with personal indoor swimming pool over looking the stern. Designed to accommodate 28 passengers and 53 crew, this clearly breaches the Mega-yacht threshold. My favorite feature is the lower deck "Beach Club" with hull doors that fold out to the water level and serve as a base for water toys and tenders. I think it looks like a gigantic bug, but undoubtedly a design that will keep us talking for years to come.

The day head features wall paper of Louis Vuitton monogrammed leather, taken from several old suitcases. For the gambler, the dining room table becomes a roulette table complete with wheel.
