Diane Von Furstenberg Celebrates New Park With Beach Towel
The High Line park in New York City opened its first section this week. The unique park was created from an old elevated rail line. On Monday, Diane von Furstenberg was among the notables in attendance for the ribbon cutting and press conference and her fashion line has created a limited-edition plush beach towel inspired by the railroad tracks. The towel sells for $75 and a percentage of the proceeds go towards Friends of the High Line, the organization charged with raising funds for the park and overseeing its maintenance. [via Cityfile]
