Aurora Over The Hudson
The ubiquitous Philippe Starck is at it again (he's like Trump but with even crazier hair). This time after making a splash with Downtown in Manhattan, he's headed to the New Jersey side. Aurora Over The Hudson will be located in Cliffside Park. The condo complex consists of two 11-story glass and steel towers with interiors designed by Starck. Between the two towers there will be a pool, hot tub, spa and dining area. There will also be a shared fitness area and a dining suite with a lounge and catering kitchen. The condos range in size from 1,800 to 3,300 square feet and sell for $1 million to $2.5 million. The sales office for the building hasn't opened yet but units have already been sold. Construction hasn't begun and it will be several years until the buildings are ready for living in. Pics on the website show that the interiors will be similar to other Starck ventures, plenty of white and modern with shots of quirky color. [via NorthJersey.com]
