Made as an extra tall rectangle with the top edges allowed to slouch down the main focal points are the beautiful textured leather (it also comes in black) and the rows of feet on the bottom. It also has a single top handle that's probably too tight to double as a shoulder strap, and is lined in black with one interior zippered pocket. $850

It's probably best if I never own this Angela Mini Pochette bag personally because I think I'd end up swinging it around a lot and it might get me into trouble. A creation by Alexander Wang, the "swingability" of this bag is the result of a shape that's both structured and slouchy (and rounded, like a baby bowling bag) with two goldtone rings on top holding a circular leather ring that serves as the only a handle. Looks similar to a drawstring style from afar. Rich textured leather in brown or black, zippered 'side' closure, protective metal feet, and interesting goldtone stud details on the handle round out the features. $650

Alexander Wang Devon Booties

Cutting edge and trend setting designer Alexander Wang has done it again. He is quickly becoming one of my favorite designers. In addition to loving his Bucket Bag, I absolutely love his Devon Sandals ($525)! Its eye catching selling point is the embossed lizard print which beautifully sets these open toed booties apart from the rest. There's suede along the back and part of the heel which works well to compliment a minimal yet adventurous looking shoe. And the color is ideal. Grey acts as an understated and versatile color palette to work from while the lizard print and suede add an extra punch. For the trendsetters, the Devon can effortlessly transition from summer into fall by adding tights or socks – but given the unpredictable weather I do think these can work well into the Fall without them. Heel measurements: 4 1/2".

The Alexander Wang Studded Drawstring Pouch is a charming and unusual bag for the adventurous fashionista.

The rich, buttery red leather of this bag is artfully gathered with a snake chain drawstring finished with a red leather handle. The silvertone studs are prominent and bauble-like, giving this bag an exceptional amount of flash. The Alexander Wang Amber Spiral Notebook Clutch is an adorable conversation piece -- and you can put your money in it.

Rather than making the hardware look like a spiral, they went ahead and made it a spiral. This embossed, lustrous black cowhide clutch opens just like a notebook to reveal three layered inside pockets in smooth, softer leather.

Alexander Wang takes "looking hot" to a whole new level with this bag that looks like it's on fire. The Elsa Framed Clutch is made of cowhide and features a unique three-compartment style with a top clasp closure that runs the entire length of the bag. The three interior pockets can be opened one at a time or all at once, the interior is fully lined, and there's no handle (no, not even a detachable one) so it's a true clutch design. Not the most versatile color scheme but certainly eye-catching. $925

--Teresa and Joe Giudice from "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" have said that their home in Towaco, New Jersey is not for sale for $3,999,999 despite popping up in real estate listings. The pair filed for bankruptcy in October 2009.
-Mike and Irena Medavoy are selling their latest Beverly Hills home for $7.495 million. It's already listed as looking for backup.
--Mischa Barton has raised the price on her eight-bedroom Beverly Hills, California home to $8.695 million.
--Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie have picked up a five-bedroom home in Beverly Hills for $3.85 million.
--Canadian singer Celine Dion's newly completed home in Jupiter Island, Florida includes three swimming pools complete with water slides and a lazy river.

--Romance and thriller writer Tami Hoag has listed her Pacific Palisades house at $2.995 million with Luzette Vidal, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Westlake Village. She bought the house for $3.25 million in 2006.

--Estancia Alicura, a 180,000-acre ranch in the Patagonia region of Argentina has gone on the market for $30 million. The ranch is owned by Ward Lay, the son of Herman Lay, the co-founder of Frito-Lay Co. and the former chairman of PepsiCo. The listing is with Hall & Hall.
--An estate once owned by Beatles drummer Ringo Starr has hit the market. The home in the gated community of St. George's Hill, in Weybridge is listed for £5.95 million with Savills.

--President Obama's New York City rental from when he was a student in New York City, No. 3E at 142 West 109th Street, is available for rent. It is listed with Dalila Bella of CitiHabitats for $1,900 a month.
--Philippe de Montebello, the former director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, has bought a two-bedroom condominium in a high-rise at Madison Avenue and 94th Street for $1.75 million.
--Ken Mehlman, the former chairman of the Republican National Committee bought a two-bedroom condominium on the 17th floor of the Chelsea Mercantile at 252 Seventh Avenue at 24th Street for $3.775 million.

--Designer Alexander Wang has bought a $2 million Tribeca one-bedroom from former New York Times Style editor Holly Brubach.
--The six-story townhouse at 63 East 82nd Street that belonged to Lawrence B. Salander, former director of the once-prestigious Salander-O'Reilly Galleries has sold at "very close" to the $14.25 million asking price.It was once listed as high as $25 million.

From the NY Post:
-Baseball legend Darryl Strawberry has signed a one-year lease for a high-floor two-bedroom apartment at the Ohm building on 11th Avenue and 30th Street. Two-bedrooms start around $3,600 per month in the building.
--Chef Mario Batali has been checking out some TriBeCa real estate, visiting the $14.95 million penthouse duplex at 33 Vestry St. and also looking at a TriBeCa townhouse in a similar price range.
--Loren and JR Ridinger, co-founders of Internet marketing and product-brokerage firm Market America, have put their Battery Park City penthouse duplex on the market for $7.9 million.

For extra security the fold over flap has a hidden magnetic closure as well as a zip fastening under the flap so none of your tiny take-alongs should go astray. At 14" x 8" x 1" it could serve as a mini-document case as well but hopefully you aren't carrying this fun accessory for anything work-related.

Alexander Wang is a designer who seems to enjoy pushing the boundaries of fashion. We recently covered his Velvet Sandals where he used shoelaces as a decorative ankle accent and now we feature his skirt-shirt. Made from triacetate, a fabric that rarely wrinkles and looks like silk given its sheen, the Silky Front Tie Shirt Skirt ($385) has center buttons, a full cut and curved hems that falls nicely around the body. The front tie is actually two shirt sleeves with 2 button cuffs for extra quirkiness. It also features deep pockets on either side that makes it more casual and perfect for slipping on with a pair of lace up or sandals and a tank top.

Alexander Wang Velvet Sandals

Alexander Wang takes the combination of American Sports with high fashion to an all new level with his Open-Toed Sandals ($499). Initially shown at his Spring 2010 fashion show, his leather and velvet open toed sandals are accented with black shoe laces that are wrapped around the top of the shoe and gathers together in knot on the side. I can't say that I've ever seen shoelaces manipulated in this way, but hats off to Alexander Wang for being creative and trying something different. Luckily, the laces just barely touch the ground so you won't trip. View his looks below to see them paired with toeless knee socks for an unexpected and playful look.

The Fashion Statement: Little Rain Coats

Today's April Fools and so, logically, begins The Penis Festival, a traditional celebration of fertility in Japan where people pay tribute to all things phallic. Tonight, Chef Tadashi Ono at NYC's Matsuri restaurant is offering a one-night-only Penis Matsuri dinner after which guests will be given a complimentary Jeremy Scott for Proper Attire condoms.

You may be wondering what all this has to do with fashion. Plenty, according to Lady Gaga. "It's not complicated, just a fashion statement," said the pop star recently about her collaboration with the designer (pictured above). "Everybody wrap it up with Jeremy Scott for Proper Attire condoms," she added. The condoms come ribbed, sheer and dotted.

Scott is not the first designer to revamp little rain coats. In 2008, Marc Jacobs unveiled a line of MJ blue condoms with a little note that read "Remember, safety first! XXOO, Marc Jacobs."
