George Clooney's sexy Italian actress / model girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis, 31, has shot a hot new ad for designer Roberto Cavalli's luxe lingerie line. "I was sure Elisabetta was just perfect for enhancing the spirit of this advertising campaign... and I was not wrong!" Shot by famed fashion photographers Mert & Marcus in a 19th-century mansion filled with gilded mirrors and baroque furniture, the campaign "pure Cavalli: sexy, decadent and feminine." Now Stegner, who hails from Munich and has appeared on the covers several fashion mags and runway shows including Victoria's Secret, as well as in ad campaigns for the likes of Chloé, Dolce & Gabbana, Escada, Guerlain, Dior and Hugo Boss, has shot a hot new ad campaign for the just-unveiled SLS AMG. Lara Stone Replaces Madonna as the Face of Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton is bidding adieu to aging pop chameleon Madonna and replacing her with model-of-the-moment Lara Stone, nearly 30 years her junior, in its upcoming ad campaigns. The Dutch stunner, who appears on the cover of the new British Vogue and has starred in numerous other high-profile ad campaigns, will bring a breath of fresh air to the famed French brand. Stone poses on a bed of moss and ferns surrounded by doves in the new ads, photographed by Steven Meisel, which will debut in Februrary fashion mags. "Because the collection loosely took its cues from the idea of the New Age traveler, we decided to create a green, outdoorsy set that would evoke a spirit of peace and love," Vuitton designer Marc Jacobs tells Vogue UK. "To model the clothes, we wanted a modern, iconic, sexy beauty... It had to be Lara Stone."

Mick Jagger's Sexy Daughter the New Face of Versace

Things are certainly going well for Mick Jagger's model daughter Georgia May Jagger as we first predicted back in the summer of 2008. Of course with a Rolling Stone for a dad and Jerry Hall for a mom what else would one expect for the 17-year-old stunner? In September we noted she had landed a sexy new ad campaign for Hudson Jeans; now she has made the cover of British Vogue and been named the new face of Versace. Jagger has just been photographed for the ad campaign by Mario Testino. "She's smart, beautiful, full of energy and has a strong personality [with] that natural high star quality. I adore her," Donatella Versace told WWD. "She's perfect for this collection - a real Versace girl."

Welcome to the second installment of our new feature, "10 Luxuries", wherein a notable figure in the world of luxury, tastemaker or stylish personality tells about the 10 necessary luxuries they simply cannot do without. Related quotes and images of each item can be found in the gallery.

World-class professional polo champion Ignacio "Nacho" Figueras is the face of The World of Polo. Already the face of Polo Black, Nacho was recently chosen to represent all of Ralph Lauren's Polo fragrances, including Polo Modern Reserve and Polo Blue, in print and advertising campaigns because he embodies the many facets of today's modern Polo man. Born in Argentina in 1977, Nacho developed a love for horses and the game of polo by the age of nine. By the time he was 17, Figueras began his professional polo career. Nacho's name has become so synonymous with the sport of polo that the American Museum of Natural History looked to Figueras to donate his polo equipment to their 2008-2009 exhibit, "The Horse", and he has been matched against England's Prince William and Prince Harry in the UK's Sandhurst Tournament.

Figueras, who divides his time between the United States and Argentina, is currently playing for Neil Hirsch's Black Watch Polo team in Bridgehampton, New York in the summer and in Palm Beach, Florida during the winter season. He returns to his ranch in Argentina for the spring and fall. Off the field, Nacho's natural charisma made him the face of Ralph Lauren Black Label clothing and the Polo Black fragrance in 2005. In 2007, Polo Ralph Lauren began sponsoring his Black Watch team and debuted a line of Black Watch clothing. "Nacho personifies The World of Polo by living the lifestyle represented by each of the fragrances," says Guillaume de Lesquen, President, Worldwide, Ralph Lauren Fragrances. "When he isn't playing polo in the world's most prestigious tournaments and promoting its heritage as an ambassador, he is sailing with his young family off the coast of Punta del Este, Uruguay and breeding horses on his ranch outside of Buenos Aires."

Meet the World's Hottest New Supermodel

Lithuanian stunner Edita Vilkeviciute gets our vote as the girl mostly likely to be dubbed the world's hottest new supermodel. Her considerable allure is perfectly showcased in new editorial (above) shot by Greg Kadel for German Vogue. As Models.com notes, Edita not only echoes classic supermodels of the '90s - think Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington - who are enjoying a comeback just now but is "destined to become legendary in her own right." She stars in the new Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter 2009 ad campaign and has also appeared in ads for the likes of The Gap, Dior Beauty, Emporio Armani, CK Jeans, Versace, Etro and Pringle as well as on the runway for Victoria's Secret and others.

Placido Domingo To Front Mexican Tourism Campaign

Filed under: Luxury Travel & Hotels

placido domingoThe push to bring tourism back to Mexico is gaining momentum. A few weeks ago we wrote about the swine flu guarantee being offered by some resorts. But now the government is getting involved with a $90 million campaign to tempt tourists back to Mexico in the wake of the flu outbreak. The ad campaign will include opera singer Placido Domingo, champion golfer Lorena Ochoa and other Mexican celebrities. The AP reports that President Felipe Calderon has said Mexico will also invite international celebrities for visits.

In terms of traveling well at a discount there has perhaps never been a better time to visit Mexico. The Wall Street Journal recently ran a piece on Mexico's travel deals. Luxury hotels including the Ritz-Carlton in Cancun and the Four Seasons Punta Mita are offering special packages with reduced rates or free nights. Flights to Mexico are also priced lower. Beaches, archaeological attractions, museums and restaurants are less crowded because of the flu scare which has claimed around 83 lives in Mexico.

The name of London-born, photographer and graphic designer Harri Peccinotti may be unfamiliar, but his work has been hugely influential. One of the very first to shoot the legendary Pirelli Calendar, he "coined the idiom of gleaming bodies and strong, sleek sexuality", one that is copied by better known photographers and used to sell luxury products to this day. Born in 1938, Peccinotti served as art director of Flair, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, Vogue and Nova.

Nova, one of the most influential magazines of the 1960s,introduced epoch-making changes in graphics, formats and photo editing. Natalia Vodianova to Design Lingerie for Etam

In the past we've written about sexy Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova's ad campaigns for the likes of Versace and Calvin Klein. Now she's turning her hand to designing as well, starting with a lingerie collection for French label Etam. Vodianova, who recently signed a three-year deal to be the brand's global ambassador, will produce a capsule collection each season called Natalia pour Etam. Initial pieces include a silk nightgown inspired by a vintage piece from her personal collection, a gray lace corset, and polka dot bra and pantie sets. "What I realized when designing this is how feminine I am," Vodianova says. "I'm feminine to the bone." We won't argue with that. You can check out some pix and video of Natalia cavorting in Etam lingerie here.

New Chanel Ad: Inside Lagerfeld's VT House

Those of you who have been following the saga of Karl Lagerfeld's newest purchase, an 1800s Greek Revival house in Vermont, will recall that he staged a photo shoot there not long after taking possession. The results, and an inside peek at Lagerfeld's Lake Champlain digs, can be seen in the new Chanel Spring / Summer 2009 ad campaign starring leggy blonde German model Toni Garrn (above). The interior looks quite bare as Lagerfeld had not yet moved into the house at the time of the shoot in November. While far from the opulence one usually associates with the Kaiser, the house obviously has an appealingly pared down, classical aesthetic. Perhaps this is emblematic of the designer's somewhat scaled back lifestyle these days.

Kate Moss for Fred Joaillier

The unstoppable Kate Moss is more gorgeous than ever in her latest ad campaign, for Fred Joaillier, the Parisian jeweler established in 1936 and now part of LVMH. The ad (above), shot in beautiful black and white by famed photographer Patrick Demarchelier, shows Kate at her most classic sporting a small fortune in diamonds. We have to say it bears more than a little resemblance to Moss' ads for rival jeweler David Yurman, which are shot by Peter Lindbergh, though on the whole Fred exhibits more taste. Last month we reported on Moss' new ad campaign for French fashion house Longchamp, and it's shaping up to be another banner season for the timeless temptress.

Claudia Schiffer Stars for D&G and YSL

The Supermodel Comeback, which we've been keeping track of for a while now, shows no signs of abating anytime soon. Picking up from fall, the new Spring / Summer 2009 ad campaigns star a slew of famous faces. Foremost, fresh off a wintery Chanel campaign for Karl Lagerfeld, the eternallly gorgeous Claudia Schiffer is starring in a sun-slathered series of Cruise Collection ads (above) for Dolce & Gabbana shot by Steven Klein. She has also landed the new Yves Saint Laurent Spring ad campaign, taking over from Naomi Campbell. The YSL ads were shot in front of the legendary Hollywood sign by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. Meanwhile Claudia is also re-upping as the face of Salvatore Ferragamo.

Lagerfeld Picks Jerry Hall for New Chanel Campaign

This past summer we reported on the burgeoning modeling career of 16-year-old Georgia May Jagger, Mick Jagger's daughter by Texan stunner Jerry Hall (above). Now her mom's doing a bit of modeling once again; she's been picked by Karl Lagerfeld to star in the new Chanel ad campaign. The campaign is based on Cheri, a novel by French author Colette about a woman who embarks on a sexual relationship with a much younger man. Hall will star alongside male model Baptiste Giabiconi, who will be portrayed seeking the uber-cougar's affections on a bed strewn with a quilt - and one of Chanel's iconic quilted handbags, WWD reports. We wonder if the campaign is the one shot at Karl's new spread in Vermont?
