BMW Launches Hydrogen 7 in London
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos
No place like on the green to launch a car so green. BMW's Hydrogen 7, the automaker's 260bhp 12-cylinder hydrogen vehicle, was brought to a British golf tournament on World Environment Day before taking part in the Revolve Brighton to London rally for low and zero-emission cars. After that eventful trip, the vehicle made its way to the London Science Museum, where it was adopted to represent one of the first major strides in bringing hydrogen vehicles to market.
The vehicle can be switched between hydrogen fuel and gasoline with just a touch of the button on the steering wheel. While 0-60 in the low 9-seconds range isn't anything staggering, the potential the car brings to light is immense.
