Potent Pickup: The baddest Ford Ranchero you've ever seen {Autoblog}

Jan 15th 2010 3:27PM Wow 9.9 Liters. With those power numbers, the engine isn't even trying hard (without the NOS)

The toque curve is pretty flat throughout most of the powerband. It might be better suited to truck use than many might think.

Autoweek spills more beans on the 2011 Ford Mustang's 5.0-liter V8 {Autoblog}

Dec 18th 2009 12:40PM Yes this will rock... now when is the twinforce 5.0 going to debut? The twinforce would go great in the next ford supercar.

LA Preview: 2011 Ford Mustang V6 makes 305 HP, gets 30 MPG {Autoblog}

Nov 30th 2009 12:16AM like it. great power and economy. Can't wait to see the new V8

SEMA 2009: Ford SVT Raptor even more appealing with 6.2-liter V8 {Autoblog}

Nov 6th 2009 9:26PM Ford would be wise to take the raptor and make it into an SUV configuration. The payload is only listed at just over 1000lbs not counting if the driver is in there so you cant really load up the bed anyway. An SUV would let Ford expand the raptor line-up and capitalize on the hard work they put into this vehicle. The body on frame SUV may not be as popular but with this capability, I'm sure they'd bring new buyers into the fold.

SEMA 2009: HTT Plethore LC-750, yet another ambitious supercar startup {Autoblog}

Nov 4th 2009 10:37PM I kinda liked it better with cleaner lines when they called it the ultimate aero.

The 3rd and 4th ones down have almost the same color scheme. Its like the aero with a cheesy bodykit.

Finally: Internet Car and Truck of the Year finalists announced {Autoblog}

Oct 21st 2009 4:57PM wow... Ford vehicles seem to make up the majority of the nominees. Thank goodness at least one major US automaker looks like they will recover without being owned by the government.

I actually rented a flex recently and it really surpised everyone. Nice interior with plenty of room, solid feeling build, and a good engine. I dont think the flex is for me - we rented it since we had a bunch of people - but for people who want/need that kind of car, it's competitive with the best of em.

Hopefully Ford can pull off a win in at least one of the categories.

Nissan may bust a nut under pressure, recalls 143,000 over tire monitoring woe {Autoblog}

Oct 9th 2009 5:35PM It's a good thing this didn't happen to their Titan or else Nissan would have a pickup blow their load too.

REPORT: BMW admits four-cylinders are likely headed back to U.S. {Autoblog}

Jul 21st 2009 3:29PM BMW, please put your 2.0L diesel from the 123d in all of your cars in the US. even the 7 series would benefit from having this as an available engine. Older people who drive it probably would care more about the effortless feel the torque provides than peak hp. 204hp - maybe a little more if they want to tweak it for the larger cars - is enough to feel brisk and the torque makes that power available much more easily. I'd love to have a fun car with mileage that can hang with any hybrid. Oh, also throw in a 6MT and I think you'll be set.

Thanks!

Acer's 11.6-inch Aspire Timeline 1810T: a netbook we can finally embrace? {Engadget}

Jul 7th 2009 12:01PM I agree.. its just a name. I think the term netbook is a shortcut for people to describe a very small laptop that is cheaper because it doesnt have the power to do much gaming or video editing and has a smaller screen for portability. And with windows 7 coming soon, people wont have to be bound by what MS allows XP to be on and cheap net/notebooks will really take off. I think the sub $500 laptop will really skyrocket this upcoming year.
