May 23rd 2007 7:00PM I'm in my mid-twenties, but I would like to hear more about make-up techniques for more mature women. I'm not always going to be in my twenties, and I like to hear about creams and more subtle colors. Plus, if my mother or aunt ever let me doll them up for a nice dinner, I'm NOT painting them green and pink.

May 18th 2007 11:54PM here's the thing-- flip-flops are the cheap, easy shoes that we buy so that we can wear them in salt water, sand them down at the beach, or throw them on to run out to the mailbox. adding diamonds just seems to defeat the charm of floppers. likewise, with the carefree, no frills, grungy-comfy mood that flip-flops embody, it belittles "full cut, high quality" jewels.
it's just an awkward combination, high-price or no.
