Oct 8th 2009 1:44PM How is the fan whom caught it the owner. Did they purchase the ball and let the phillies borrow it? So if I go to the park and intercept your frisbee, ball, bike or otherwise then they become my property? Keeping a ball owned by MLB is a priviledge, not a right. Should be the player's choice, the one setting the milestone/record. And giving the girl a compensation signed replacement seems like a decent thing to do. Too many people walking around feeling entitled to everything!
