Jan 5th 2011 4:51AM In my hometown, there used to be a placed called "Teen Town" where kids the same age(13-17) could go on Fri. and Sat. nights. Most of the time music was records but, now and then a band would do a couple of shows. Prices were cheap and everyone had a pretty good time. Then things started changing, fights, drugs, booze, and sex. Next thing you know the place closed. It was several years before there was another place where teens and tweens could go to have fun. Just hope that there is a great deal of adult supervision.

Dec 31st 2010 5:22AM My parents had a garden at my grandmother's when I was around 6-9 yrs old, they would give me a hoe and put my butt in said garden and make me work along with them ALL DAY. Come suppertime by God I would eat the tires off a Chevy! Quit giving in to these tv-brainwashed kids and work 'em till their good and hungry, don't want what's for supper/dinner go to your room, the kitchen is CLOSED.

To think of all the trips that have been made on this trail and from the looks of it things haven't really changed that much. To travel this trade route is to step back in history. It was reading of such places that sparked my imagination when I was young, didn't have CD,DVDS, IPOD,MP3, and all this electronic age garbage. Those my age 53 and older, we had IMAGINATION. Took us around the world to far away places and people.
