Aug 28th 2006 3:32PM actually, by the time chicken pox shows up in the form of spots it's too late. same goes for EVERY SINGLE contagious diease you can get out there without necessairly having sex with or kissing someone. by the time you start exhibit symptoms in the form of spots, rashes, fevers, etc, it's WAY too late! so the airline DID over react in this case and are due to give that family an apology. now, the free airfare only comes if the family is asking for it and i don't see it here. but by reading these post and having to make this one, i can see who REALLY needs to get a clue and educate themselves on contagious and airborne diseases and who doesn't. to all the parents out there, you rule for your opinion on this one. everyone else, GO BACK TO BIOLOGY CLASS!

Aug 24th 2006 10:38AM i like pink. but i'm not THAT in love with it. my gameboy sp is red actually. how about a red one? or one in all the primary colors and maybe a FEW pastles? give ppl some options. i do find it a bit insulting that they would paint it pink and assume all the girls would like it. what am i?! 10?! geh. :p stupid marketing ppl. no thanks to them, we got a pink ps2, and ppl slamming gamers. not all gamer guys are dorky/ loser/fat/pothead/skater kids who can't get dates. not all the girls are fat and desperate for attention. but thanks for laying out the stereotypes so show how stupid you all are! :)

Aug 21st 2006 3:07PM as a FORMER walmart consumer, and one who has studied their Human Resources Management policies INSIDE AND OUT, and a person who has worked in retail, i can't wait til walmart implodes. soon they will be kicked out of china b/c their policies do not work well in a communist country like china. and that's just the tip of the iceburg. the FEW benefits that they do have are appalling as well as the way they treat their customers AND employees. i WILL NOT shop in such a place, and i've had MANY shopping experiences there. i am fortunate enough to live in a city that has MORE shopping options. i prefer target. :) when i was in college and BEFORE i had my car, i was stuck shopping there. then i wised up, got my car and started shopping at the local grocery and clothing stores. then we got a walgreens! woo hoo! but if i HAD to go to a big box store, i'd make the hour trek back to the city to target, or stop by on my way back to school after weekend visits home. and i'm glad to see i'm NOT the only one. :)

Aug 21st 2006 11:05AM wow.....she didn't get this kind of flack when she was in ROME. ppl get pissed when you step on their religious beliefs, but C'MON! if you don't like it, don't go to the show, turn off the radio and tv when their song airs, don't buy their music, etc. it's not that hard! geez......but this IS the russian mob we're talking about, so i'm not too surprised. and if she wants her kids on tour with her, so be it. if SHE tells them what she's doing and why, they'll accept it and be ok with it and support her b/c she's their mom and she loves them and they love her no matter what crazy thing she does. yeah, kids are strange like that. :p i don't think she should change her show b/c of what other ppl think. i know she toned it down for her dad, but the rest of you can go suck on an egg! what do you know about her life outside what she and the media have told you? and that's only the tip of the iceburg kids! think about it! there's more to this then you know. and ppl bash catholism ALL THE FREAKING TIME, but when she does it it's a bad thing? man, are you creeps a bunch of hypocrites! more power to her for getting under your skin and showing what this religion can do to ppl.....

Aug 17th 2006 2:10PM i say, "OFF THE BOY!" it makes sense to me. the bad guys have been after him all along. such is life that way. so what if it screws up the kiddies. look at the world they live in! if they are reading these dictionairies for books then they have the mental capciety to understand the fact, that life sucks and we all die in the end. sometimes to let good win out, the good have to die. look at the war in iraq. the US is supposedly the good guys and while ppl are dying on all sides, we keep hoping that good will win and there will be peace in the region soon. that's the cost of life these days. and so, the cookie crumbles.

Aug 11th 2006 3:27PM PETA is a bunch of misinformed, COLD idiots. i would like you to take your argument to the those North of the equator. hasn't anyone else noticed that those who protest fur tend to live in warm places? and if they aren't always warm, they aren't that cold either. they're also very overpopulated cities and refuse to move. so yeah, let's make everyone else adopt my stupid lifestyle b/c *I* it! bring that shit to the midwest and see what happens! or better yet, to our friendly cousins in the north! idiots. don't come crying to me when the precious animals that you want save so badly ruin your home with their overpopulation. oh, and lambs as many other animals are, are shaved for their fur and when it regrows, we shave it again. and we do it for the animal b/c if we dont' they will die. i also have friends who had a rabbit and their mother made FUCKING GLOVES out of the shedded fur. gah! it's not like ppl are walking up to these animals and playing "whack a mole" and skinning them alive! there are other ways to get fur, and when there is isn't, you can be assured that the animal isn't being wastefully killed. and to those that codemn other countries and cultures for the way they treat animals - it's THEIR CULTURE! if you don't like that, don't go visit them. but you damn better respect b/c they do it for us. if they didn't, humanity wouldn't still be alive.

Aug 9th 2006 10:39AM wow. seems like there are a lot of hurt feelings on here. yes, beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, but EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE generally agrees on what it is. and since the beginning of time we've all wanted strong, healthy, beautiful offspring. it's like a survival trait - NO ONE wants to look at something ugly, so there may be SOME truth in here.

Because last time I checked, there was pretty much equality across the board for those who took on engineering as their chosen profession. And there are EXPERTS of both sexes in some of the more specialty fields of engineering. So tell me, how is one going to be better then the other in this case? And thank you for yet another male comment that sets HUMANITY back a good century or two.

Jul 14th 2006 11:50AM jimminy christmas! we live in a VERY agnoistic nation and are only "christian" when it is convient for us. but it's not that hard to get the TRUE message of Christ out there: that our God is a JEALOUS God, but He is also a VERY LOVING AND MERCIFUL GOD. from what i see here, i see that there are christians that use fear to get ppl to "act right" so that they can get into heaven. but i also see ppl who are really using their "grace and mercy" card a lil too much. like it's a talisman or something.
ppl, we need to find a way to walk that fine line that is christianity and get the message of Christ out there. it's gonna be hard, but if WE AS CHRISTIANS can come together (that should be fun to watch! :p) we can get things done. not only will it be good for our souls, it'll just be a good thing for us to do.

Jul 5th 2006 9:53PM #1: if ANY OF YOU EVEN WATCHED Dallas, when it was on tv, this casting mess WOULD NOT surprise you! it's a SOAP OPERA! there's always gonna be hollywood ppl at each other's throats b/c they don't want some one to top them.
#2: there ARE hispanic southerners. and if there aren't then DAYUM there are a bunch of tanned, brunette white folks in texas. :p and accents can be faked, y'all! so i'm sure jlo can fool us into believing she's from texas. i remember reading about her doing a movie in mexico about all the women and girls going missing juarez. now, i don't know if she's playing a mexican (part of her role requires her to be blond, so the papparazzi got her in a blond wig), but i'm sure she can pull it off. :p she did it in selena after all!
