Apr 17th 2010 4:43PM How exactly does my using more efficient lighting, car, furnace, A/C, and a raft of other things and BEHAVIOUR CHANGES morph in your twisted microbrains into "them" taking money from my pocket? I've spent very little (replaced an old furnace that was dying, an old car that was beyond help, and added central A/C to the house, for example-- all expenses I would have had) and my Civic gets twice the mileage my Dodge got, my furnace is easily using half the LNG the old Rheem did, and the central A/C uses the same amount of electricity as two window units did... and cools the entire house!

PS I don't bother with recycling paper or cans. Our muni trash collector extracts recyclables directly as well as collecting presorts, so why bother?
