As it turns out, there are quite a few important differences between Google's CalDAV support and Spanning Sync that you don't cover here. I've written a blog post describing the ones we think will affect the most people::
Comments and questions are welcome.
Oct 12th 2007 3:39PM Lots of our users use Spanning Sync to sync their calendars between two or more Macs. We're currently beta testing v1.1, which has some additional duplicate-prevention features specifically for that scenario.
Aug 3rd 2007 7:33PM I tried this on my MacBook pro and got this error:
-bash: ./screenshot: Bad CPU type in executable
Jun 25th 2007 11:29AM While I'm tempted to say Spanning Sync, I have to agree with a previous poster: SNOOD!
May 2nd 2007 9:06AM Of course anyone with even a passing familiarity with Austin knows that people who live here are called "Austinites". People who live in Houston are "Houstonians". Everyone here is embarrassed for the developer. Hopefully their next project won't be "The New Yorkian" or the "Bostonite". Sad.
