Jersey Shore Star's Dangerous Diet {That's Fit}

Dec 31st 2009 3:47PM Wow ok whether you claim this works or not. How in the world can you get the proper nutrients for your body on a daily basis if you only consume 500 calories a day? Losing fat is one thing, but is it worth it if you deprive your body of the vitamins needed to properly run each day? I dont think people should be limiting the amount of food consumed as much as changing the types of foods they put in their body.

And if this Jersey shore girl is on a 500/day diet...dont they party every night, how many of those calories are alcohol? She must never actually eat food...

ABC cuts episode orders for V and FlashForward {AOL TV}

Dec 9th 2009 1:59PM Well a good way to revive a show with low ratings its first season is to, of course, take a 3 months hiatus in the middle of the season...that does wonderful things for a show. Theyre just asking for it to die.

An iCarly Experience that was not iDeal {AOL TV}

Sep 14th 2009 12:45PM "God knows why people would want a signature of a demi-celebrity ... scratch that, god knows why anyone would want anyone's signature, but if you want one, plan ahead and don't assume that you are entitled to special treatment."

Thank you...lol I have always been baffled by this whole autograph idea. If you want a photo of your fav celeb, ok that makes sense. If you enjoy your fav celeb in whatever form of talent they have (i.e. acting, sports, musical, etc) that is very understandable. But to wait hours for someone to sign their name (noted, takes about 2 seconds to do) on something, I don’t get it (esp. when u can just buy one of the millions offered off eBay). I enjoy people’s talent and I am a fan of many people, but I have never been obsessed over a single individual (or group).

My response to people going gaga over a signed item? "I can sign my name on things too...does that make me special?" Like I said, I very much respect people with great talent and I respect being a fan of that. But I am not going to waste hours waiting around to meet someone (who will never remember me, who I "might" get to take a picture w/, and who will spend less than a minute w/me before moving to the next fan). I’m not casting down the celebs that do this. Filing through fan after fan is all they can really do w/out pissing off the fans who didn’t get their attention (as seen in this article). If I’m going to put that much effort into meeting someone I’m that "obsessed" with, I’d much rather win like a dinner or small 5 group back stage gathering via auction or something. That way, you truly get to meet the person, instead of being shuttled through fan after fan like cattle.

Giveaway Monday: That '70s Show The Complete Series Stash box set {AOL TV}

Oct 13th 2008 2:46PM This show is awesome…I can’t get enough of it. I’ve seen all the episodes too many times to count. Plus I love these complete series boxes they are coming out with, saves so much space as compared to individual season sets.

Gamer geeks have lower BMIs {That's Fit}

Sep 20th 2008 6:20PM Well that makes sense actually...someone who just sits on the couch watching TV has time to munch on snacks mindlessly...but if ur a gamer your completely engaged in the activity. Plus ur hands are being used to play the game, so you don’t really have a way to mindlessly eat away your day. And those guys can play for hours at a time so I wouldn’t be shocked if they even miss a meal or 2 occasionally.

Love to exercise? Check your fingers {That's Fit}

Sep 20th 2008 3:01PM Hmm all this talk about one finger being shorter/longer than that other...but my ring and index finger are exactly the same height. Where are the studys that talk about that? LOL

Nastia Liukin says gymnasts can't eat like Michael Phelps {That's Fit}

Sep 17th 2008 5:07PM Yeah 1200 seems really low for someone who expends so many calories daily. That’s the minimum a normal person who is lucky enough to go to the gym 3 times a week and is attempting to actually lose weight...not maintain it, should be consuming. I honestly don’t believe that number at all...for the amount of calories she burns daily....there's just no way 1200 is enough to sustain her. These are kids who are first off teenagers, thus naturally require more calories and then on top of that they spend minimum of 4 hours in the gym daily. There is no dietician out there that would ever tell someone with that profile to only maintain a diet of only 1200 calories. Plus only eating a bowl of oatmeal for the total daily amount of carbs is completely off as well. I never believe these types of article from magazines, especially celeb based magazines, they just make things up.

Grocery stores are shrinking {That's Fit}

Sep 16th 2008 8:40PM In contrary I hate going to the smaller grocery stores only to find out they only have half the products I need or half the products that were listed for sale in their fliers. It just means I either dont end up getting a lot of the foods I wanted or I have to make yet another trip for everything this store didnt have. Id rather make one trip and be assured that everything i wanted/needed was actually going to be there. Plus i have noticed the smaller stores tend to have a bit higher prices, even higher than the bigger store of the exact same company.
