May 1st 2007 2:52AM The horse racing industry makes so much money, they dont need $1000 to take care of a retired horse. These stables will do just fine without the money. The money needs to go to some real issue of the world. AIDS or cancer research, childerns foundations, just to start. If the money is going to be used for breeding, the person makes money off of selling them. Agian sport makes good money for most involved, this money should go to someone that needs it, not some cheap skate millioniare that doesnt want to pay for something.
