Kate Moss Poses in Lingerie for Valisere Campaign {Stylelist (Main)}
Oct 26th 2010 8:03PM I truly don't get the fascination with this woman. She is nothing to look at. She reminds me of an adolescent boy with an overbite. No body to speak of at all.
'Teen Mom' Under Investigation for Domestic Abuse in Front of Child {PopEater}
Oct 20th 2010 2:45PM Frankly, any teenager pregnant in this world, given the numerous methods of birth control, is frankly disgusting. Irresponsible behavior at it's height. Don't tell me that teen moms are 'mature'. It is a sure sign of immaturity and irresponsibility that they get pregnant in the first place! I hate these shows. They pander to low level thinking and low brow lifestyles. I'm old school. I think pregnancy as a single person, much less as a teenager, is cause for disgrace. Not to be glamourized on television!
Can I Name a Baby Charlotte in Charlotte? {ParentDish}
Aug 19th 2010 6:30PM I agree, Carol. What the article really begs is have the current generations gotten so stupid that they have to ask something like this? Here it is, in little bites: Lots of 'places' have 'people' names, boys and girls. If you like a traditional name like Charlotte, I doubt anyone will ask you if it's because you like the name or that you wanted to name your child after a place, even though you live in North Carolina. Surely the populace there hasn't embraced the notion that Charlotte is only a place name since a place in NC is called Charlotte. (Charlotte as a people name is older than Charlotte as a place name, boys and girls). ;)
Our youth can barely think for themselves. Before anyone calls me a hater, etc., I just consider it my responsibility, as a dinosaur, to attack and stomp out stupidity at the root whenever I see it.
Have a good evening, boys and girls! Miss Common Sense signing out!
Angelina Jolie's New Inner-Thigh Tattoo Is 'For Brad' {Stylelist (Main)}
Jul 13th 2010 12:28AM srsnakes So you are assuming she is the hottest woman on the planet and all should bow and pay homage? If you don't like her, then you're a hater? I beg your pitiful pardon, but I AM THE HOTTEST WOMAN ON THE PLANET! She couldn't take my man, and I surely wouldn't want hers! Ewwww! If a man's parts have been on her parts, then he is surely not good enough for My Royal Highness. Just ask my husband!
No hating here, just stating the obvious about me, how much lower she is than me, and it's all good. YOU ARE DISMISSED SRSNAKES!
Jaclyn Smith Celebrates 25 Years With Kmart {Stylelist (Main)}
Jul 6th 2010 11:02PM Her line only looks good on really thin women. The plus sized line is really just stretchy polyester that looks and wears cheap. I like Delta Burke's line much much better. Quality made in every line she makes.
Two Women, Two Methods, Same Outfit {Stylelist (Main)}
Jul 6th 2010 1:37PM This is the problem with this article. The StyleList Staff have a vocabulary problem. There is a sufficient amount of differences here that saying that the lady's outfits are 'essentially the same' (as in the Webster's definition of 'identical') is misleading. The colors and styles of the blouses are so different as to suggest they are -ta da- completely different. The jeans are jeans, most look very similar, but are different colors. The shoes lack enough similarity to say they are 'essentially identical' due to style and color differences, the shoes being sandals notwithstanding.
So, without further ado, I will educate them:
Main Entry: iden·ti·cal
Pronunciation: \ī-ˈden-ti-kəl, ə-\
Function: adjective
Etymology: probably from Medieval Latin identicus, from Late Latin identitas
Date: 1581
1 : being the same : selfsame
2 : having such close resemblance as to be essentially the same —often used with to or with
3 a : having the same cause or origin b : monozygotic
synonyms see same
— iden·ti·cal·ly \-k(ə-)lē\ adverb
— iden·ti·cal·ness \-kəl-nəs\ noun
Lilith Fair Cancels 10 More Dates {Spinner}
Jul 5th 2010 11:54PM The economy is likely the main reason behind the cancels. All musical acts are cutting tour dates due to the inability to sell enough tickets to justify going to a location. Until pricing around the country in virtually everything gets back to something realistic, then discretionary spending is going to take the biggest hits and will continue until people have free money again. You can't even run up a credit card anymore the limits are so low and the interest rates so high. Just getting a card anymore is damn close to impossible.
Summer Trends -- The Outfits We Hate Seeing Guys Wear {Lemondrop}
Jul 4th 2010 10:29PM Buzzed hair isn't for really ugly guys. They need the hair to hide behind. My husband is really hot with a handsome masculine face and black hair. His buzz cut shows that handsome face, the hair is neat and perfect all the time, and that glimps of snow white scalp amongst the black hair is simply sexy.
As for sandals? Most men have awful feet. I don't want to see them. Women with totally ugly feet shouldn't wear sandals, either.
Mel Gibson's Ex-Girlfriend Files Restraining Order, Alleges Domestic Violence {PopEater}
Jun 25th 2010 7:51PM Hey Joe,
I did the job for 23 years and I swear I never asked the religion of the people involved. Is that something on your police reports? Seems you have an ax to grind with Catholics. Besides, last I saw, infidelity didn't have a specified religion. Equal opportunity, do you get me? Oh, and wouldn't you know it? COPS have a long track record for infidelity. I never wondered at their religion, either, as it was obvious that if they had a religion they had obviously lost their way.
Mel Gibson Files Restraining Order Against Ex-Girlfriend {PopEater}
Jun 25th 2010 10:30AM Mel is an aging actor with an alcohol problem who had some sort of a crisis, resulting in his need to seek out a much younger woman to stroke an ego that was likely waning. Happens every day around the globe and money, etc., has nothing to do with it. Mel made his choices and now he's suffering. Had he not strayed from his good wife of 30 years, the restraining orders, etc., wouldn't be an issue.
Most men, and women, end up with legal entanglements due to bad choices. You can add 'women over 16' to your victimology list.
