Dracula's Castle for Sale (Bats Included!) {Luxist}

Jul 6th 2007 1:19AM Sweet! If I were Bill Gates, and I'm not, I would buy this castle. Imagine the potential at social gatherings. Donald Trump walks up and sneers, "I just purchased a new hotel in Las Vegas."
To which you respond, "Oh, really? I just purchased a castle from Transylvania...guess which one."

Vieira vs. Rev. Sharpton {AOL Video Blog}

Apr 13th 2007 12:22PM Imus was fired for calling black people nappy -headed hos. What if he had called white people "straight-headed hos"? Would he have been fired? Of course not.

Let's take a moment to review the actual statement "nappy -headed hos." Nappy hair is a descriptive term. It is not bad, nor is it inaccurate. Most black women do have nappy hair. What about the word "hos." This is the controversial one. Did you know 33% of children are born out-of-wedlock? Did you know 70% of black children are born out-of-wedlock? This is an interesting statistic for sure, but does not necessarily mean blacks are "hos."

The bottom line is that any other race, be it white, Mexican, or Chinese, would not react so fiercely towards such a meaningless statement. The only reason such a reaction would be given would be to compensate for a lack of something. If you tell a bodybuilder he has a tiny body, he will look at himself, flex, and then laugh a little. He knows what you said is not true. However, if the bodybuilder doubted himself, he would probably vehemently defend the condition of his body. Because blacks have shown such strong emotion over this one phrase, it makes me wonder if they deep down believe it
