Shocking ad ruffles designer feathers {Stylelist (Main)}
Sep 28th 2007 9:15PM Look at all your plump kid stars who were well on their way to matureing into attractive adults. Then all of a sudden they, over night, lose 1/4 to 1/3 their body weight. Then show off their new bodies like a new wardrobe they just bought. I'm sure somtimes it's a purposely, induced form of annexoria. And I'm sure they all don't suffer from some brain deformity, like the fashion world would have you think. In my oppinion it's a sad,shallow form of existance. And it's not like I'm an unatractive person lashing out on the beautiful. I just know I've never let it bother me about how I look and have never really focused on that with the other sex either. There are far too many real and important thing to concern myself with, like life and the people in it. But society teaches us that your appearence is everything. And the ones who desperately require that type of attention sometimes will go to desperate measures. No it's not just fassion's fault. It's also society's fault for instilling what fassion tells us is an acceptable appearance. You can't blame the devil for you listening to him. If more people would grow back bones and a little self respect, we'd probably have less anorexic cases. I'm sure it's politically incorrect to say so, but politically correct is just another way of saying excusing immoral,and wrong doing,and thinking. No, I'm not right wing or left wing. I'm not even sure what the the difference is. What I do know is it's two ends of the spectrum. Like a strong acid verses a stronge base. Both are corrosive. I just tell it like I see it. Problem is some people want to pretend being selfish and irresponsible is justified. In short summery, Everyone's a victim and someone or something's always to blame. And what's worse is all these truths brought before your attention will never change a thing, because things like fassion and society will always be wispering in your ear and people today are too weak to decide for themselves. Therefore will always be suseptible to those wisperings. Sad isn't it? If you think so, then try and do something about it at least in your own life. You'll probably like yourself more and life might even take on a better quality for it.
Weightless Flights Now On Sale At Sharper Image {Luxist}
May 13th 2007 8:25PM $3,500 for a 90 minute flight. Gee, I don't know where they get the idea of spoiled, glutoness Americans. How many starving, dieing people do you think that could of saved. Sometimes I feel like leaving this country. Someone's making a
Boycott Rosie? {AOL Video Blog}
Apr 10th 2007 9:58PM Rosie brings up a good point to look at. She sees a flaw with what happened on 9/11 and is questioning it. How do you figure that's unAmerican? And whatever happened to Usama Bin Ladin? Sure we stomped the crap out of one of his financers(Iraq), but we have lost sight of the one who was actually behind 9/11 and instead have troops in another country protecting the president's private interests(his private oil dealings). Also you need to look at the president's approval rate before and after 9/11. Also ask yoourselves how someone can provenly cheat there way to presidency and remain president. Oh that's right, we needed him after 9/11. Other than that I don't feel he's contributed much to this country. As a matter of fact, until reading this page, I never met so many fans of the president Bush. Things that make you go, HMMMMM? . And I know after writing this, I am now a target myself by the prsident and his staff seeing how they're reading my comments before any of you. I just hope you get to read this if it's not sencored. 9/11 allowed for a lot of our constitutional rights to be stripped from us out of the need for our own protection. It's like communism without the bennifits for the people. I feel Rosie just tapped the iceberg. I was never for or against Rosie, but knowing where she stands with where our country is headed, I say GO ROSIE!, for just saying what everyones trying to look away from.
