Jail Time for Phoenix Man Who Hosted Bible Study at His Home {AOL Real Estate}

Jul 8th 2012 6:41PM I agree with you 100% something is not right here. It could be that the city requires one to be an ordained Minster to hold Bible classes in a building that meets zoning requirements, but not a church. I'm thinking there has to be some regulation in place, that is going to cost this guy some big money for this man to continue to be defiant, and flat out lie. (not very Christian) like behavior to me. They may even suspect this man of cult activity and want to keep an eye on him in an area that if they have to rush in guns blazing, it won't be in a residential neighborhood. Regardless of his group meeting once a month or every week, It has to be brutal on his neighbors privacy, and right to quiet enjoyment of their property. Again, not very Christian like behavior. I wonder what happens if a neighbor is having a a big party the same time his group is meeting, would they actually raise fist over parking spaces, while the top 100 songs drowns out the gospel readings? Bet that altercation would make the national evening news. I hate that they are bothering this man and his argument is religious freedom. I hate even more the city is hiding behind zoning violations. Maybe they should hold those classes in the part of town where they are needed the most. After hours, open air on City Hall, The Court House, and Zoning Board Steps. Sad part of all this is, Even if they went to a park he would need a permit for a gathering of a certain size, and may incur charges for extra police, and fire-rescue to be on duty. Humf, that just may have answered the question of why so defiant? The city wants money from this man, and a lot of it.

Jail Time for Phoenix Man Who Hosted Bible Study at His Home {AOL Real Estate}

Jul 8th 2012 2:52PM Not becoming. Has become, and we allowed it to happen. We have gone to war with countries that did the same things to it's citizens to liberate the people from goverenment demands and control. If,We The People" don't take a stand soon, Who will Liberate us? Our forefathers have to be rolling over in their graves saying, we didn't take into account they would be this stupid.

Jail Time for Phoenix Man Who Hosted Bible Study at His Home {AOL Real Estate}

Jul 8th 2012 11:42AM The next time someone has a BBQ, kids birthday party, or family reunion at their home. the officials better come and break it up, or pay a hefty settlement to this man for violating his rights. I told you these people in office today are the, New face of organized crime, and satan's children, and they are getting bolder everyday.

I'm not without sympathy for the neighbors and nuisance these people have to be causing with the parking of over 20 cars, blocking the neighbors property, and the noise created by the group, I do think this man needs to find a building in a commercial area, or ask a church to donate space to his group. I do think something is not quite right with his defiance of the request since his group has continued to grow, but the bottom-line for me is they are after him because they don't like what it is he is doing, he is getting to big and they're probably counting his money, and can't get their hands on it for taxes and using zoning as a smoke screen, to shut him down. If zoning was the real issue there would be no backyard, or house gatherings of any kind allowed that had more then 20 people. That would include guest at the funeral of a city officals home. HA! Oh yeah... what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Send the fire department to break up a funeral of a city offical for zoning violations.

Denver HOA Looks to Ban Sidewalk Chalk Art {AOL Real Estate}

Jun 11th 2012 5:54PM I don't like HOA's I think they are bunch of people that never had any real power until they were the first to buy in a neighborhood. With that said, I agree with the HOA on this one. That chalk art is a mess. It's not like these kids are budding Picaso's. Most of them are challenged to draw a stick figure. Let, Mom and Pop keep that dusty mess in their house or own backyard. Frankly, chalk art would not be the first thing I'd want to see when turning into my block, and it sure as heck could impact the value of all properties. Sure it will wash away, but maybe not fast enough, to avoid killing the sale of a home. Mom and Pop could paint a whole wall in their house with chalk board paint and let the kids knock themselves out having fun. Neighbors and their property should not be impacted by their free spirited artist.

Las Vegas Homeowners Association Scandal Claims 4th Victim {AOL Real Estate}

Mar 31st 2012 8:11PM I have a feeling the cops and everybody else knows who is behind these killings. They just don't want to one day walk into an amubush that gets reported as another suicide. Humm must be something in the water down there making folks kill themselves all of a sudden. These people were hardcore thieves. They are not they type to kill themselves because of a scandal. They would be looking for the Book and movie deal.

Las Vegas Homeowners Association Scandal Claims 4th Victim {AOL Real Estate}

Mar 31st 2012 1:06PM I don't like the idea of an HOA. I just can't wrap my brain around paying a mortgage and someone else has an Idea and say in what I can or must do with my property. The other side of this is if you have a problem with one board member you have a problem with them all. Some people need to be told what to do every step of the way, while others are very independent, and know exactly what to do, without supervision. That's just to much power over me, where I spend my money, and my property, by people you never laid eyes on until you moved into the home. Are these people paid to be on the boards? If so I guess they get a pretty nice bonus when they start handing out citations. The new face of organized crime.

Enrique Iglesias on why he won't marry Anna Kournikova {Celestrellas}

Mar 6th 2012 6:21PM OMG! Here we go again, Simple fact is men don't marry a woman because he does not want to marry her. Forget all the fluff of we don't need a piece of paper, and other excuses. If for no other reason you need that piece of paper so your kids are not born Illegitimate. Think about those at the top of their game. Are any of them Illegitimate? Duh. Men marry the woman he wants in his life forever. If he does not marry you, you know your not the one. You may be close to what he wants, but close does not get you to the altar. Better to be a wife for a year then a girlfriend for 11.

Landlord Wrecks Occupied Home, Pleads Guilty to Misdemeanor {AOL Real Estate}

Mar 2nd 2012 6:55PM HAHAHA, I like his style. Darn tenants get in your house, and don't want to get out. Some don't pay rent, run to Landlord tenant court with complaints about condition of property, and live rent free. I say while they are out making the complaints throw the belongings in the street, change the locks and board the windows up. In the end it's cheaper to pay the fines then having someone living in your home rent free and doing delibrate damage to it. Personally, I could not give a man the time of day that had me and his kids in a rental home he was not paying for us to be in. I just don't understand that kind of woman and family values.

HUD Renegs on Letting Evicted 101-Year-Old Return Home {AOL Real Estate}

Jan 30th 2012 6:08PM OMG! What a tragic story. Her son should be in jail for exploitation of the elderly. At 101 years old I guess she wasn't dying fast enough for him to get his hands on what was hers. Can you imagine being that old and trusting someone who is supposed to love you, And have your best interest at heart do you in like that? What a pig that son is, for even allowing the home he shared with his mother to become in condition that unfit for human habitation. What could this woman have done to him to make him hate her so much, he would see her thrown in the street? If some agency does fix her house they should do so with the stipulation he cannot live there, or inherit the property. That son is a no good blankety blank, and should be in jail.

HUD Renegs on Letting Evicted 101-Year-Old Return Home {AOL Real Estate}

Jan 30th 2012 5:50PM This is indeed a shame. There should be agencies in her city that will help senior citizens with home repairs. I do hope she gets thehelp she needs and I also hope her son gets some jail time for explotation of the elderly. Guess she didn't die off fast enough for him. What a bum that son is. Clearly he didn't care about his mother. You would think he would have kept the house up for not other reason then to get top dollar for it after she passed. This is a disgrace.
