Feb 17th 2010 10:45AM I don't see how I'm mistaken, and I know what the AIRCAP and AIRSCARF refer to. Like I said, all of these "technologies" have been around for years. AIRCAP like wind blockers are widely available as an option or after market add on for convertibles world wide, the mid seat pop up wind blocker is standard on most convertibles now, and the AIRSCARF vents that blow heat around your neck is also something seen on quite a few models.
Feb 17th 2010 10:43AM Exactly...you can buy a bunch of these after market add on wind blockers on the web. It's a great idea, but it is hardly original to Mercedes.
Feb 17th 2010 8:22AM "AIRCAP is the first technology of its kind in the industry, but copycats will surely follow soon"
Actually, air blockers have been widely available as an option or standard equipment in convertibles for years. Even the second generation Miata, which was out ten years ago, had one. The "AIRSCARF", as Mercedes calls it, is also something that has been around for a long time.
Dec 4th 2008 6:13AM Just do the exact opposite of Kanye West in life and you'll be fine.
Sep 9th 2008 5:02PM What a sad, sad hatchet job by an envious person. All the facts are even wrong. If this person can't even get this story right, then how can her advice as a "relationship expert" be any good. Just repeating a lie you read on the Internet doesn't make it true. If you don't like McCain or his policies then just say that..don't attack his family with some made up nonsense.
Jul 2nd 2008 1:33AM Five generations of failure. Get out your checkbook again, folks.
Jun 8th 2008 10:55AM ..and those damn fat, spoiled, McDonalds eating Americans. If they only had our moldy "culture" and didn't take baths or brush their teeth like us Europeans, life would be great. Also, we should be allowed to tell them what form of government they should have and how they should run it, ignoring their comments, in a constant monotone voice. All the time. At every opportunity. Because there is nothing like smelly eurotrash giving you their brilliant, original opinion on George Bush. 'Cause those Americans have never thought of that angle before and need to be told. Over and over again.
Feb 14th 2008 8:15AM Hats off for ripping off Vanity Fair's annual cover down to the last detail?
Feb 13th 2008 9:16AM Zero proof to this story, pure speculation, but I'm sure it will be picked up by some major new organization. This is the kind of third hand "reporting" that gives the Internet such a bad name. Please think before you write and have a real story to report in the future. This one is just embarrassing.
Aug 21st 2007 3:35PM Don't get me wrong...this is a great looking property. But where did the statement that this is the largest remaining private estate on the Potomac come from? There are many much larger private estates off of the Potomac, some actually owned by descendants of the Washington family. It's certainly rare for a home like this to come up for sale, though.
