NO employee can pay a worker MORE than they are worth in ANY instance. IF YOU ARE WORTH WHAT YOU ARE BEING paid YOU DON'T need a union. Unions are for the people that want to be paid more and get more benefits than the average worker.. Why does the private sector put up with this nonsense??? ...I KNOW BECAUSE I WAS A MEMBER OF THE AFLCIO UNION.

Nov 14th 2010 3:13PM i think just the opposite ...I got my kids in high school credit cards with both our names linked to them. I told them what ever they bought with out my permission was coming out of their bank acct. ( also in both out names!). The good thing about this was they actually developed GREAT CREDIT and great responsibility about spending. I didn't have to go to pick out school clothes or anything else that they needed if they asked me first. It was a great waste of time to have to go back to a mall if they were out and saw an item they needed. All my kids went to college with the same card and was able to buy textbooks and other incidentals with credit. This was a great time saver and they always got the best price because they were able to be the first to buy the USED BOOKS. Now that they are out of school I have switched them over to their own cards and all three kids have never had a late payment fee or have ever had an interest fee...they only buy with credit what they can afford....and they never have to carry around CASH!!

Oct 23rd 2010 8:13AM GET the kids into sports, either in school or a town team...they meet new friends, feel better about themselves and don't care what another kid is saying because they are empowered. It has worked for all my kids all the way through college! You need to let kids decide for themselves they WILL NOT BE A PERPETUAL VICTIM!! This really works....instead of parents interveining
